I’ll give this product five stars for what it is. The one thing I don’t like about this product is the lightbulbs they get hot. But that’s about it. I have not done research to find a replacement lights, but I’m sure they are regularly available. Almost everywhere you would shop for a light bulb. It’s easy to set up. It’s sturdy good quality lightweight. I paid $60 for this thing satisfied

This was my first softbox I've purchased and it's a great item for a beginner! I was a little nervous about it, but I truly have not regretted this purchase. It was non intimidating as a beginner and the warm/cold light settings are good and it's bright. I use it for close-up videography of collector's items and it works excellent for this. The only thing I'll note is that it's a little difficult to get the umbrella to fully open - takes a little muscle power. I have not tried it on human subjects or portrait-length video. Makes me feel like I true auteur!

For the money, it's a good deal. The quality of the light is not very accurate (about CRI 73) and the daylight mode is about 4500k instead of 5000k. The stated output of 85W is more like 60W. But it's certainly bright enough if it's close to the subject, within 6 ft. Naturally, the light strength falls off rapidly as the distance increases. With that said, the remote does work well, and gives you a good adjustable range both on lux and K.

​I bought this kit for a home studio, and it's the best investment in picture quality. I used to struggle with shadows, but these softboxes solve the problem with a bang.​What I particularly liked:​Flexible settings: LED lamps are very bright. A huge plus is the ability to change the temperature of the light from warm (cozy) to cold (studio). This allows you to adjust to any natural light from the window.​Remote control: Having a remote control is just a salvation! You can change the brightness and color without getting up or interrupting the shooting.​Softboxes provide very soft, diffused light that hides skin imperfections. The racks are stable, height-adjustable without unnecessary effort.​ Despite its professional size, the kit can be quickly disassembled and folded into a bag. It is ideal if you have little space in the room.​Take it without hesitation. For your money, this is the top level.

The light so far works well! There are little to no instructions for assembling but it is pretty intuitive, except for the light cover umbrella. You have to pull on the back handle till it pops into place (like an umbrella) and locks. Fortunately I had seen a customer review video showing that which allowed me to know how to set it up. In the time that I purchased and set it up that video disapeared, thank goodness I had seen it or I would have thought the product was defective. The other downside of this light is a pretty short plug in cord. If you have the light set up in its tallest height the cord will reach the floor...but that's about it. The remote works well and the different modes of warm to cool is a really nice feature. You can adjust brightness and cool/warm to exactly what you would like but it will reset each time you turn it on and off and doesn't remember your setting.
