Key Features
- 45A Total Output, 9-Channel PWM Driver: 5A per channel x 9 channels drives up to 3 RGB, 2 RGBW or 9 single-color runs at the same time - enough headroom for large multi-zone projects
- 4-Digit Display, No DIP Switch: the panel shows the DMX address (dXXX, 001-512), mode and speed in real time; 4 buttons - Speed-/Speed+, Mode, Set - set everything directly, no binary dip-switch counting
- Console Control Mode: with a DMX console the display shows dXXX (start address 001-512); MODE cycles 4 console modes - dXXX standard DMX, 9 channels mapped 1:1 (each output follows its channel level, 0-255); AXXX 11-ch mode (CH10 = built-in effect: strobe, jump, fade, chase; CH11 = speed); CXXX 3-ch mode (P1-P3 live, P4-P9 mirror P1-P3); EXXX 1-ch mode (all 9 outputs mirror P1)
- Standalone Control Mode: without a console it plays built-in effects - XXPX = speed 01-99 (01 = fastest, 99 = slowest) + program P0-P9 (10 presets); Speed- / Speed+ adjust the speed, SET saves, and the saved program and speed are restored at next power-on; P0 = blackout (no light output) for a dark stage before the console powers on
- Cascade for Large Projects: link multiple decoders via XLR or RJ45 for synced zones; each unit takes 9 DMX addresses in 9-channel mode (up to 56 per 512-channel universe); wide input DC 5-24V; for constant-voltage LED strips without IC (RGB, RGBW, single-color), wall washers, stage, KTV and architectural lighting

Description
The CANRIA 9-channel DMX512 decoder converts DMX512/1990 console signals into smooth PWM output for constant-voltage LED strips: up to 3 RGB, 2 RGBW or 9 single-color runs, 5A per channel, 45A total. NO DIP SWITCH. The 4-digit display shows the DMX address (dXXX, 001-512), mode and speed; the 4-button panel (Speed-/Speed+, Mode, Set) sets everything in seconds - no binary dip counting. In DMX mode the Speed buttons double as address +/-. CONSOLE CONTROL MODE. With a DMX console connected, cycle through 4 modes with the MODE button: dXXX standard DMX, 9 channels mapped 1:1, each output follows its channel level (0-255). AXXX: 11 channels - CH10 picks the built-in effect (strobe, jump, fade, chase), CH11 sets the speed. CXXX: 3-channel mode, P1-P3 are live and P4-P9 mirror P1-P3. EXXX: 1-channel mode, all 9 outputs mirror P1. Press Set to save. STANDALONE CONTROL MODE. No console? The decoder runs its own show - the display reads XXPX: the first two digits are the speed (01-99, 01 = fastest and 99 = slowest), the last two digits are the program (P0-P9: strobe, jump, fade, chase and more). Speed buttons adjust speed, Mode steps through programs, Set saves, and settings are restored on power-up. Program P0 is a blackout (all LEDs off) - a clean standby state before the console goes live. CASCADE AND SCALE. Link units via XLR or RJ45: same address for synced shows, different addresses for zones. In 9-channel mode each unit takes 9 DMX addresses, so one 512-channel universe addresses up to 56 units. Wide DC 5-24V input fits your existing 5V / 12V / 24V strips and power supplies; a DC 12-24V switching power supply is recommended for most setups. Fits RGB, RGBW and single-color LED strips without IC - strip lights, wall washers, stage, KTV, wedding and architectural lighting. Not for addressable (WS2812) pixel strips.
