This works really well and lasts a long time when used for regular stair use. Most are still working but a couple were drained so its been a couple of months before I needed to charge any of them.I like that I can adjust the brightness and the colors are fun. I made rainbow stairs.However, 4 stars, because I wish I could adjust the light to stay on for longer. By the time I get to the bottom of the stairs it doesn't give me enough to to reach the light switch.Unless I find ones like this with adjustable timer setting I will buy more of these.It's magnitized so the installation is just a sticker with a magnet on it. Put it where ever you want. Glue it if you want something more permanent.

These exceeded my expectations! I love these lights so much, the brightness is adjustable and they pick up motion from a great distance. I just set them on the lip of the baseboard and they offer a great magnetic option that hold firmly on metal objects. They are plenty bright to light a walk way or staircase and you can adjust each one to be a different color, making it fun to light up the room. They don't stay lit for very long but reactivate quickly when they detect movement. They also recharge rather quickly when the battery runs out. I have on charged at all times and just replace it when one of them need charged. I have already purchased 2 sets and one of my friends saw them so I bought a set for them since they liked them so much.

Rechargeable, RGB, and motion sensor-awesome.My only complaint would be wishing it had an adjustable motion sensor or could be on a timer. Then it would be absolutely perfect.These things are really responsive so they go off even during the daytime, anytime something gets near them. Which means battery life won’t be the best.If they had a timer feature so that I could only have them turn on at night, these would be 10/10.Installation was easy, just clean the wall, stick em’ on. No issues with drops thus far.I did also have to charge all of them straight out of the box for several hours, so keep that in mind.They come with 4 cables with two males tethered into one USB-Basically meaning you can charge two at a time with one cable. I appreciate that.They’re lightweight, compact & have a dimming function for all colors.Truly great little lights. Highly recommend.If any issues arise with them, I’ll update my review.

I would give these 10 stars if it was an option. I put a pair by the stairs in our dark garage. No more worries about tripping on those little steps. Then one each in the toilet closets. No need to turn on the bright lights to go wee in the middle of the night. It seems like there are about a gazillion color choices - I chose the warm orange color. Additionally, they come with a little adhesive magnet so you don't have to make a hole in the wall. They are motion activated and once activated, they stay on for about 20 seconds. There is a switch to turn them completely off. Plus, they are rechargeable. Once charged, they seem to last roughly 60 days before requiring a quick recharge. 8 lights come with 8 charger cords. 10 stars!!!

The short version:Pretty great little night lights at a nice price. They have a nice thin metal disk with an adhesive back that allows you to mount the light but easily remove it for charging. Should run for a couple months if activated (by motion) around 20 times a day. You can pic your color and you can set the brightness. These are nightlights not area lights, so let's manage our expectations accordingly. They are great for under the bed to light the floor, or in the bathroom when you don't want to wake up your synapses with a 200 watt blast of photons. The only possible drawback is that there is no cool white color choice, but there is a perfectly fine warm white setting. By the way, not at all weather tight.The long version:Broke it open and tested it:At full brightness:Red = 58mAPurple = 84mAAqua blue = 52mALet's say 70 mA averageRed dimmed to the lowest = 9mAStandby = 0.06mAIt stays on 23 seconds every time it sees motion (if the motion stops)So, in general, it should run about 2 months on a charge if it lights up 20 times a day. Much longer if you set the brightness to a lower setting. Maybe 6 months or more. I ran it on red constantly (you can switch it to run constantly) for just under 12 hrs which is really close to the max theoretical time it should have lasted with that battery.
