I'm very impressed with this thing! Though it is light plastic, it grips onto the pole very well and the lights are bright!! And dimmable, so you can control that. Once it's fully charges, the lights are strong and last a while!! Def will buy another for my other umbrella.

Very bright face down, quite a bit of glare though. When facing upward for indirect light off umbrella underside, not quite bright enough. Still better than most pole lights I’ve tried and this one has the added benefit of an internal battery AND AA battery compartments.It doesn’t appear it can charge AA rechargeable batteries like my last pole light that failed after a year, but since it had an internal battery I haven’t really bothered using AA’s.

We use these for the Disc Golf baskets when we run our monthly night golf event, Get Lit Fridays at Vista! 😁 Easy set up and really brightens a good area around the pin. Got them on sale and they were a smokin' deal, especially since they are rechargeable!! 🥏⛓️❤️

I placed this on umbrella pole @ table at our poolside. It has three settings for brightness and provides good light for immediate table. It looks nice and is easy to set up. I had one similar that was not rechareable and I had to change out batteries often. This light is rechargeable and I really like it.
