This was so easy to install and looks amazing on our stairs. We replaced the ones our house had when we bought it because they were kinda dim. These just lit up the whole staircase, I love them!

I was looking for a way to add both style & safety to the exterior of my home, so I got these LED outdoor stair lights to illuminate the pathway to my front door. My expectations were thoroughly exceeded - the modern & sleek aesthetic of these lights instantly elevated the curb appeal, following a moderately easy installation (some skill required). I had some initial reservations regarding the potential for minimal light output due to the item’s compact size & the angle of the light itself. However, I was completely wrong! I installed just one of the lights as a test & it was more than enough to beautifully illuminate the entire pathway from my front door. This single light delivered a powerful & focused beam that made the space feel both secure & welcoming.The quality of these lights is equally impressive. The metal housing is sturdy & has a heavy-duty feel, while the wiring on the back is well-protected against the elements. I’m confident these will be able to handle constant exposure to weather for a long period of time. This product is a perfect example of something that looks more expensive than it is, and I couldn't be more pleased with the incredible value & performance.

These LED step lights work great and look really nice. You can switch between three light colors (warm, neutral, or cool) to match your space, and the brightness is just right—not too dim and not too harsh. The bronze finish gives them a clean, modern look, and I like that they can be dimmed when needed. They were easy to install, use very little energy, and feel solid in quality. A great set of lights for stairs, hallways, or even outside on the patio.

These lights look so much higher end than the ones our builder chose to install. We replaced the old school looking white slat ones with these. All the hardware in our house is black and these just match and flow with the rest of the home. They put out a higher/ brighter light beam going up the stairs than the others too. I can’t speak to the lifespan but so far they are still working- we pretty much leave them on during the night as an our son lives upstairs. They are dimmable but we don’t use that function, we choose to set them to the lowest candle light color and they look beautiful. We think that even though both were made of metal these are better quality/ seems like a powder coat bs a white paint look. I hope they atleast outlive our time here at this home.

My wooden patio stairs drop off into a dark backyard, and they've become a real hazard after sunset. I've nearly twisted my ankle more than once. I was tired of using the blinding porch light, which ruins the nighttime ambiance. I wanted a hardwired solution that looked integrated and intentional, not some cheap solar stick-on afterthought. These vertical step lights, with their oil-rubbed bronze finish, looked perfect for the job and they fit in with my other lights. The result is fantastic. I can't deny it. After the installation was complete, I waited for dusk flipped the switch, and bam I was genuinely thrilled. They cast a nice, warm downward light that perfectly illuminates the stair treads without creating glare or washing out the whole area. They provide safety while enhancing the atmosphere. The heavy aluminum faceplate feels high-quality and looks beautiful against the cedar stain on my deck. They look like a professional electrician installed them as part of the original deck construction. The installation, however, was the part that tested my patience. The lights are designed to be installed in a standard single-gang electrical box, which is fine and standard practice. The issue is the faceplate design and the mounting screws. Getting the faceplate to sit perfectly flush and vertically aligned against the wood siding of my stairs took a lot of tiny adjustments, tightening one screw, then the other, then loosening again. The included screws were also made of a soft metal, and I nearly stripped the head on one of them with just a hand screwdriver, which would have been a disaster. It's not a major design flaw, but it turned what should have been a quick job into a longer, more meticulous one that required a lot of deep breaths and walking away for a minute. I'd recommend these to someone who is patient, reasonably handy, and enjoys the process of getting things just right. The final look is absolutely worth the effort. If you're looking for a quick and easy "slap it on the wall" solution, or you get easily frustrated when things don't align perfectly on the first try, this project might test your sanity.

1). Picture 1 shows the step light and hardware out of the package.2). Picture 2 shows the light from a vertical view. The light will shine going vertically. You could probably put them horizontally if you had a use for them shining that way.3). Picture 3 shows the back of the light and the hardware needed.4) Picture 4 shows the back of the light with the bracket added and hardware.5) I like the way these lights look and work. Since they are dimmable and have different colored white lights to choose from, they make them more appealing. I wish they would have included a dimmable switch, but that has to be purchased separately. The installation isn't very hard; you have to remember that these are all hardwired, and you have to cut enough sheetrock to get the whole back level with the wall. They are great, smaller lights.

You need to cut a hole in the wall to fit a single outlet, which is typically used for a light switch. Then, install a light switch box and power. The same would apply outdoors, but it'd be more complicated because you'd have to waterproof all your electrical work.The benefit of these lights so if they protect your guests from slips and fall, allows them to see objects that may be on the stairs as they walk up the stairs whether it’s snow or moisture ice these lights can protect the guest that you’re having a home from injuries, outdoors and indoors, the same thing in a car, you can have toys from children other stuff on the stairs that people are coming down the stairs in the middle of night might not see. Still, these lights could prevent a fall and possibly a serious injury. That’s an excellent product that would be a benefit to any homeowner.
