The alabaster actually looks like alabaster should, with veins etc whether it's turned on or off. The light has substance and weight to it with a relatively simple installation. Placed it on a dimmer and it gets many compliments! It's a bit modern in style but I've actually placed it in a mini bar area that's "refined rustic". As you can see in the photo and video, the pair is quite stunning.

Insanely pretty! Got this for a great price. Packaging solid. Fast ship. Beautiful brass bracket and hardware. The natural stone has just the right amount of veining. It’s very bright, so the dimming feature may be worth looking into. It’s an LED so it will burn for a long time. I’m so pleased with this purchase!
