Lamps are nice, the height is perfect and the night light is beautiful. I gave 4 stars though because the shades are not what I would consider "luxury" and one was bent along half of the top. I didn't want to bother with a return so tried to smooth it out and turned that part to the back of the lamp. Looking for new shades but hesitate to order any that need to be put together.

I was nervous because of how small the box looked but there were two lamps inside. Packed so perfectly and insulated to prevent damage. There were easy to follow directions but I watched the video on the Amazon site and it was a cinch. Pay attention to the shade for the leopard lamp and make sure droplets on the shade appears to be falling downwards and not up. It was easy to correct. The shade has a very nice feel to it. Not cheap or plastic but a sort of fabric with a beautiful gold underside. The shade closes with velcro but it's quality in my opinion. I connected mine to a smart plug but the downside is you won't have the option to use the lights in the base. Everything shuts off. So maybe not. I like the light bulbs that comes with it are not too bright and creates an ambience to any room. The lights in the base in my opinion are not bright at all to be considered night lights but it's pretty. I think the price was great for both lamps and it doesn't feel cheap either.
