Feels solid and seemed weird the motion sensor was in the bulb. However, it picks up motion well. My door is about 3 feet away and it will detect me walking by the window, behind a set of blinds! I would think the motion sensor does its job and then some. It lights up the walk ways very well. I would say this is a great purchase!

We use these lights to cover the garage and back door areas and the brightness provides great illumination of the areas. It is great to have them automatically come on at dusk and turn off in the morning. This helps us when we get home at dark to have them already on and saves energy as they only come on at night. We like them and recommend them if a dusk to dawn light is needed.

I was skeptical when reading what the bulbs do The price was reasonable considering the lights are motion detecting. I installed about three weeks ago. From the start the lights were amazing. I originally bought two however after having them installed after four days I purchased an additional two. Great product works great. Well worth the money .

These work really well in my driveway, sense movement at around 30 feet away. They look Super bright and convenient there is an automatic timer. They fit in a standard outdoor flood light housing. I used these as a work around for not buying new motion sensing flood light housings, I bought super cheap ( but highly rated) on/off simple floodlight housings and put these bulbs in them instead. So far they work as intended and saved me at least a few dollars.
