Nice size tabletop fountain. It is esthetically pleasing and the sound of trickling water is so soothing and fun to watch. Just set it up and I love it. I am a little concerned about how long the pump will last. Update to follow. So far, so good!!

It’s a really cute fountain. I’m happy with it overall. One thing that I can say is that the suction cups on the pump it itself that stays in the water has a hard time actually sticking and staying down. Which is a little bit frustrating because it floats up often and I have to constantly put my hand in the water and push it down. I think that the cost is a little bit pricey, but it’s the cheapest outdoor fountain I could find so apparently they’re just expensive in general, but I will be keeping it.

This water fountain fits my corner living room perfectly. Amazon ran out of the new ones, so I bought a used water fountain and it works just like new. I can literally hear the water fountain from the second floor. This unit is so easy to install all you have to do is connect the hose and plug in. I am really happy with this water fountain for it gives me a sense of calmness and it matches the color scheme of my living room. Thank you Amazon/Alpine

I bought this it said open box , but that it was inspected and everything functions as if it was new,Sadly it was not up to par at all! It was a returned damaged fountain, the stones were loose and placed inside the fountain, the back left bottom side and corner was cracked and pieces broken off , moldy water inside, there was annoying tiny styrofoam peices ALL FREAKING OVER INSIDE THE ENTIRE THING little tiny styrofoam that sticks to anything it contacts! I had to rinse the entire thing out, pick out all the pieces, then scrub the mold out and then I had to order quick set waterproof silicone caulking which cost me an additional nine bucks! So this lightly discounted fountain ended up costing me more than a brand new one! If it was new it would have been perfect! But after patching it up with silicone it works perfectly and I’m very much enjoying it! You’ll have to watch the water level every day and reposition the pump because the suction cups on the bottom of pump come loose and the pump pops out of the water and gets loud and can damage the pump that way, I have to add water every day due to evaporation, I highly suggest putting a few drops of bleach or vinegar, or lugols iodine into the water to keep it from getting bacteria in it even though it’s running it still can grow bacteria in some areas, Also when you unplug it/turn it off , you’ll HAVE To use a cup to catch the water coming down the fountain so it doesn’t go back into the inside reservoir because it can overflow off your forgotten how much water you’ve placed when topping it up LOl, btw this is made of a thinner resin, pretty and perfect height but not what I wanted tbh, but we’re enjoying it regardless now

Update: This is my third alpine cascading cup fountain. The first one lasted a long time, but I left it out too long in the fall and it cracked. The second one has no way to clean the tube. I took it out but cannot get it back in as the opening inside to the top is narrow. I will keep tryingI bought this 3rd one because the smaller birds love this style! The chickadees take a bath in the top regularly during the summer. It is so pleasant to watch them. I am looking for another similar type that has more space between the cups so more than one bird can take a bath. So far no luck.If anyone has any tips on how to get the water tube back on I would appreciate it! Alpine really needs to make this fountain so that the tube can be cleaned!This fountain does not leak as other reviews claimed. But when it is turned off the water flows back into the base and overflows out the back opening. One could empty the water before unplugging the fountain. Solution? Use it outside which I did on my deck to replace my heated bird bath for the summer. The birds came right to it as they love the sound of trickling water. But I have replaced it again because they love it, taking splash baths in the top cup. I will have to figure out how to more tightly secure the next one4th fountain. Yikes. The company must love me. But the small birds really love itI have not mentioned this before but the suction cups DoNot keep the motor secure one bottom on the fountain. The floor is too rough and the suction cups do not hold. How about making a flat area for the motor!!!

UPDATE: I bought my first one in 2018 and it lasted until 2022. I'm happy with that especially considering I would throw it in the shed at the end of the summer and drag it out the next, wondering if it would work. The little motor finally gave out this year (2022) and I bought a replacement (different brand) which was crap. This has a nice thick 3-prong cord and the pump is quiet. I decided to buy a whole new fountain because the 2018 one was very weather worn and leaked a little (probably due to not caring for it well). I put a little bit of algae killer drops in it several times a week and hopefully it will last as long as the last one.This is an awesome little fountain. I read tons of reviews on Amazon before purchasing a little fountain and this had many good ones. It was super easy to set up...five minutes. It has an adjustable pump, so I can turn up for more fountain sound or decrease when I like. It even came with some little stones to spread around in the basins. I did buy some algae liquid drops because after a week the water had turned. I'm very happy with this purchase.
