When considering pendant lights for our kitchen island, I didn't want anything predictable or ordinary. We shopped two "big box" stores with the usual lighting options. Frustrated, I started perusing Amazon and came across these oversized LamQee pendants. I read all the reviews and thought they just might work.Two boxes arrived in a timely manner, and the pendants were in perfect condition, securely packed in Styrofoam, not one scratch or dent. We had a professtional electrician install them so they hang straight and perfectly even. The electrician said he thought they were well made, which was an unsolicited endorsement on his part. He also said this kind of hanging rod is much easier to work with than chains which require weaving the electric through to the light.I am thrilled with these LamQee pendants! I consider them "statement fixtures." Black goes with just about anything and the gold undersides enhance our brushed gold faucet, cabinet handles and pulls. Two oversized black and gold pendants add a unique and dramatic ambiance that three smaller pendants would fail to do. I highly recommend this item with five stars!

It is exactly as described. Actually, the black/gold combination is stunning. The Large Pendant Light gives off good lighting and looks great over my high-top table. I am more than pleased with this light!

Looks great for higher ceiling… definitely looks painted and not a finished metal coating, like a typical plumbing or light fixture should be.

I needed some light in my poorly designed walk-in closet. It’s a pit! Well it WAS a pit. I hired a general handyman to install. It was very easy. Mine is hanging about 18 inches from a tall ceiling & now I can actually see my clothing. I chose this light because it is super functional & metal. I wanted something that would not get broken as I remove things from the upper shelves. It looks good & provides excellent lighting.

Beautiful and great quality! I recommend avoiding warm white bulbs with these because the reflection off of the gold makes the lights look very yellow. But when we switched to daylight bulbs, they looked fantastic!
