Exactly what I was looking for! Classic “Emeralite” desk lamp. Comes packaged in pieces you screw together. But, I think that decreases odds of lamp shade breaking. Shade colored evenly and no chips or bubbles. The base is nice and heavy and not too bulky. Nice brass color. Pull chain operates perfectly. Bought for my son as he’s always wanted one. Happy! Definitely recommend.

The lamp has a weighted base, which makes it a very stable item.It is an excellent addition to my den, where I work daily on my computer. After several months of use there no signs of wear, it still looks as new as when I took it out of the box. I am truly satisfied with this purchase and consider it good value for money.

It might be too soon to review this lamp, but I can't wait.I can't stop looking at this lamp. From top to bottom, it might be the most beautiful lamp I've seen.And I have quite a few lamps. It is a perfect composition of brass and glass and the base is a work of art.The size is perfect and the way the pull chain dangles from the bulb is pure magic.Another reviewer commented about the bulb blocking the left portion of light and she was right.An edison bulb will expand the range of light left to right, I was grateful for her input.What more can I say: this is a perfect little lamp and it has illuminated my little world.
