Good, i like them

These emergency lights install easily and work well. They run on most common voltages so can go anywhere, just make sure your fusing and wiring is done correctly. Pretty easy install if you put them above an outlet - cut the hole, fish the wire down to the existing outlet, add the old work box, wire it in, and test.

I love that they're finally offering some of these type of products in larger package quantity. It's so hard to really test a product and see what their capabilities are when you only have one Item. Because I received the four pack I was able to actually install them in an entire space. As luck had it, The week after I installed them we lost power. While these units are physically a smaller size than a lot of other units, Their bulbs and reflectors put out an equivalent amount of light. They are well made and are an off white colored plastic shell fairly common with these type of lights. These are a hard wired type, do not have cords and wired directly into an electrical box in your wall or ceiling. These had been installed about a week before the power went out, so I know they had sufficient charging time. The batteries lasted about five hours before it started to dim. Also, As time went on they just got dimmer and dimmer They didn't just entirely shut down. The first five or six hours were the brightest and around that five or six hour mark is when it started to dim and I noticed that every hour it was slightly more dim Around the 12 hour mark they were still lit but very very dimly- at that point it really was just enough to see that there was a bulb on but not enough to light up anything. These were incredibly easy to install. They have a simple plastic backing plate that screws onto your electrical box. It's just the typical black to black white to white connection, then the lamp snaps on to the cover. Total installation time less than five minutes. They are completely automatic and when they have power to them they just quietly trickle charge, and as soon as power is lost they activate full strength. Other than occasional testing there is no maintenance needed. As I mentioned before these are physically smaller in size but they don't seem to be less bright than the larger, older, clunkier ones. Being smaller they're a little less obvious and a bit more discreet than the bigger versions which I like. They're great little lights- easy to install and gives a lot of peace of mind.

These lights are designed to be a cost effective multi-form mount lamp. In the field, you will need to attach the cable from the battery pack to the circuit board and then depending on the type of j-box you need to mount to, you will drill some holes in the mounting plate, but there are various hole-spacing marks pre-cast into the plastic for ease of layout. It will support 120 volt and 277 volt sources without further re-pinning of the control board. The mounting of the back plate to the lamp is pre-in-place plastic clips, so a gentle technique is called for along with making sure the alignment is clean as the back plate has protrusions that reinforce the circuit board by mating with notches in the board. It comes complete with orange wires nuts and j-box screws. The fixture is UL listed so it will meet inspection demands. The bulbs are bright and have some swivel to the mounting connection to allow for limited aiming adjustments. The detection and charging circuitry works reliably and the push-to-test button allows for easy in-place function verification.

These were a little smaller than what I was expecting. Kind of plasticky but everything’s included and they work well and a nice and bright. They have a long lasting battery. Long enough for people to exit the space. These of installation is good. You hook up three wires and go. With the four pack, you get a really good value for the money for a small price. Durability is questionable, but they are attached to the wall and don’t get knocked around so I think it’s fine.

These units were very easy to mount, and after allowing it to charge overnight tested the hardwired one with the test button and lasted for as long as I could hold the button a minute or so. We put a cord on the second unit so it was easier to test for a longer period and after 15 min still had good light. The lights adjust side to side but didn't appear to adjust up and down, but maybe I'm just missing that as I didn't really need to adjust it down.As per the instructions you have to make sure to plug in the battery so it will charge. I assume it's shipped disconnected because otherwise the light would just draw the battery down to nothing and reduce overall life.

I think these are going to be great as we have power outs in our home every winter and no gas in the house. No generators. I thought they would be a simple install but if you are not a licensed electrician, you might not be able to do it! My home is 95 years old, and getting these to work with my existing structure is going to require a professional. It may be a few months until I can do that. I'll update this review with installation costs, functionality, and more later.

Power outages hit our small business office like clockwork every storm season here in the Midwest, and after last year's fumbling around with flashlights during a blackout, I splurged on this 4-pack of LED Emergency Lights. What a smart move – these things are built like tanks and perform like champs!Installation was straightforward for our electrician: Hard-wired to our 120V system in about 20 minutes per unit, wall-mounted flush against the ceilings in hallways and conference rooms. No flickering, no buzzing – just crisp, bright white light (around 500 lumens each, I'd guess) that kicks in instantly when the power dips. The 90-minute NiCd backup battery held strong through a full 2-hour outage last week; we wrapped up client calls and locked up safely without a single stumble. Fire-resistant rating (UL 94V-0) gives me peace of mind in our commercial space, and they're ETL-listed for easy code compliance. At this price for four, it's cheaper than calling in pros for custom installs. If you're prepping an office, retail spot, or any building for those "just in case" moments, these are a no-brainer. Solid construction, zero maintenance so far, and they blend right in. Five stars – our team's calling them "outage heroes"!(Pro tip: Test the batteries monthly with the built-in switch to keep 'em primed. Takes seconds.)
