It is easy to install if you have worked with fixtures before. My house is an older house, so any do-it-yourself project takes longer because of all the surprises I run up against. That has no bearing on the product. The photo on Amazon doesn't show that the globe is open at the bottom resulting in the bare bulb showing. It looks like they may have intentionally hidden that fact since you would not have guessed that from the photos of the product. That may be why this product gets returned often. Obviously that surprise did not make some people happy. For my use, it is in a closet and I like the fact that I can change the bulb without the frustration of removing the globe first and then placing it back on hoping to not drop and breaking it while doing so. It is a bare basic looking light fixture but does the job fine if you aren't looking for style.

I purchased two of these cute little fixtures as I wanted to match the hall and entry by the front door. This was my third attempt to find something I could live with and I’m happy I didn’t settle on something else. My home is small, so it needed something small. The shade is a fairly sturdy seeded glass. I went with a white 40 watt G25 bulb. My only regret is that they’re not dimmable, but with their location, won’t likely ever be a problem.

Used this semi flush mount light in my bathroom remodel and it was just what I was hoping for! Install was super easy, took me 5 minutes at most and completely upgraded my builder grade bathroom. Awesome product for a great price!

This light fixture makes it easy to change the lightbulb . Our other ceiling light was impossible to remove from the ceiling just to put in a new light bulb. This gives a lot of light to our closet and got another for our laundry room.

My son is an electrical apprentice & he said the install was pretty straightforward. Provides better lighting than the builder grade unit we had. The polished brass also matches the other hardware we have in the bathroom.

Could not be happier with this light! We were undecided for over our sink, didn't want one that hung too low over the window. Our electrician mentioned people were getting good lighting for cheaper prices off Amazon, and that they were pretty good quality. This is an exceptional quality for the money. I highly recommend it.
