Thanks for the awesome reviews on the seam.When we installed it, we just made sure the seam was on the back end of the lamp.So when you walk into the house, you don't see it.But the lamp is beautiful, the lighting is awesome.Just like somebody else's picture showed, it's just like that very mid century. I was going to do the burst of bulbs lamp but that will get played out. Too many of those everywhere. This is very unique.

The fixture was packaged very well. The craftsmanship and quality of this fixture is on par with more expensive lights and I’m impressed with the quality at this price. The size is perfect and works well over a dining table. It was very easy to install with two people, one to hold the fixture while the other one connects the 3 wires. My only minor gripe is that cork shade has 2 seems like others have mentioned.

I have needed a light fixture over my dining table. This one I’ve been eyeing. Many great reviews. Quite a few negative ones and mainly about the shade. I pulled the trigger and ordered it. I’m glad I did. It is quite a well designed fixture. The flexibility in the length made it possible to get the perfect height above my table, in 6” increments. Wiring was super easy. Assembly was a bit difficult. The instructions were easy to follow, but there were lots of parts and lining everything up was a bit of a challenge. If all came together. No bulbs came with it. I used 3 15 watt LED (100 watt equivalent) bulbs that are dimmable. Looks great from totally dim to full power. The top is open and the upright effect gives a wash of light into the surrounding room. Overall this is a pretty dining fixture and great value.I did have a small problem with the installation. An email over the thanksgiving holiday weekend was answered rather quickly. The CSR was highly responsive. She took cars of what I needed after asking a few questions to resolve things accurately. Products aren’t always perfect, but the customer service after purchase makes for a great company. Will buy from them again.

I bought this fixture for our dining room and my husband installed it. It is a little larger than I expected, but I just love it. The shade is real cork, very thinly sliced. I was a little disappointed to see that our shade was dented but the dents mostly popped out and I put them towards the back corner of the room so they aren't really noticeable. Since others have noted this as well, I hope the manufacturer will remedy this with better packaging because this is really a beautiful fixture. Others have mentioned the seams so I included a picture of what the seam looks like. I'm pretty particular and it does not bother me. We did follow the suggestions by another reviewer and put the bulbs and diffuser in after the fixture was hung. We have this on a dimmer and my picture is at about 60% with three 60 w bulbs.

This lamp is GREAT. Well worth the money. I needed it to be close to the ceiling so I unscrewed the cone on top replaced it with one of the 6" extensions which screwed right in and mounted it 7" down from the ceiling. it looks great. It's made from 2 pieces of real cock cut from the Cork Oak tree so there are 2 seams across from each other which look just fine. I would rather have real cork from a tree than some plastic imitation.Oh, the installation instructions and drawings were great. Written by a real person, not an engineer or technician. - good job ... It looks best with the 2700K LED warm lights. the 4000K or 5000K lights are too harsh

I purchased the 3-light pendant and while I am pretty happy with it, I would have liked the shade to have been better quality. First, it is in two large parts, so there are two seams, one on opposite sides. One seam would have been okay and easier to hide, but the two seams was a disappointment. Also, the cork assembly quality was questionable in a few parts. There are like small strips of cork that make up the entire shade, and every so often there is a darker strip so it stands out when the light is on. I also had a small dent on one side of mine which could not be removed, it appears to be a manufacturing issue. I am thinking about contacting the company for a new shade.Other than that, it's a beautiful light fixture above my dining table. I love the color of the light and the way it looks lit at night. The frosted glass on the bottom diffuses the light and avoids unsightly light bulbs, but there is no top cover so it may get dusty inside.I had it installed by my handyman and he regretted not reading the directions on two occasions, so make sure you follow them to avoid wasted time. :)I gave this light fixture 4 stars, mostly because of the shade's questionable quality.

This Pendant light is absolutely gorgeous. I am unfortunately not able to install it myself, due to issues related to what I uncovered when I removed the existing light fixture in my house this one was to replace (no junction box, to start). Don't be afraid to hire a pro to install it like I'm going to have to do. However, if you are lucky, and your situation is better, you should have no trouble installing this fixture on your own.I am going to have this installed in my living room. I noticed that it would hang far too low if assembled with the shortest pole and the cone piece. So I took a good look at how the fixture was assembled, and I discovered that you can install the canopy directly to the cone shaped piece without having to use the small 6" extension pole. Problem solved! If you look at the canopy, it has a male threaded nipple connector that is screwed into a swivel mechanism. That male nipple connector screws out, and you can then screw in the male threaded nipple on the cone directly to the canopy (which now is female after removing that male threaded nipple connector).If you want the full length of all of the extension poles, just leave the male threaded nipple on the canopy and use as many or as few of the extension poles to achieve your desired length.You can also remove the cone and just use the extension poles for a different look. But if you ask me, that cone is what really sets off the mid mod feel of this lamp. So leave it, now that I've told you the assembly secret.The cork is beautiful and different. This lamp is about 22" across, so very sizable. Perfect for a larger room, as it won't get lost in the size of the room. Also good for a dining room. Would not put it in a smaller room, such as a bedroom, as it would likely overwhelm the space. It take three regular, standard bulbs, and can be used with a dimmer (just make sure you also use dimmable bulbs!)Buy it, install it, love it!

I love this light. It looks amazing in my dining room. I took the teardrop shaped part off so I could mount it closer to the ceiling and it works fantastically. Just a note there are some extension tubes so you can make it LONGER but you can't make it SHORTER unless you remove the teardrop shaped part. And even then there is still a short tube 6" tube you need to use, which is perfect for my use. Just remember to cut down the wires or else you'll have several extra feet of wire in the box above the light.I love the light from this fixture. The cork gives it a beautiful orange tint and gives the perfect amount of uplighting and downlighting while providing enough sidelighting to prevent it from being too drastic.I put it on a dimmer switch, a TP Link model I got on amazon, to allow alexa to control it. I find this to be extremely helpful. Not only can you manually dim the bulbs (assuming you have dimmable bulbs) but you can do it with Alexa. I also paired it with 3 warm white dimmable 60W equivalent Triangle LED lights. This emphasises the beautiful color from this light and seems to allow for an all around perfect setup. All totaled they use about 27W and can have up to 2400 lumens of light. And including the bulbs and dimmer the whole thing is well under $200.This fixture was a breeze to install. Once I found the right breaker and disconnected the old fixture I had this put up in 15 minutes. And I'm not generally a handyman type, so it would be quicker for people who know what they're doing. Make sure you unbox, unwrap and prepare it for installation before you get started, just to save time while up on the ladder with the lights off. The biggest problem I faced was not having bulbs the day I installed it so I had to scrounge some up to test with. But otherwise this was a snap.The frosted glass is going to get dirty over time with bugs and dust, but it's not hard to unscrew to clean. Also for bulb changes I found that it was easier to put them in from above than to remove the glass. Not that I'll need to replace the LEDs, they'll likely be here when I sell the house. Though I might want to take this fixture with me, I really do love it.
