The 3 settings are exactly all you need for a bedside lamp. I use the highest when Im getting ready and the lowest is the perfect setting to get settled in. Warm light...the touch is perfectly sensitive. I do not miss the one we had before which was a progressive knob youd twist...terrible. you will not be disappointed with this lamp. Great price and great light!

Bought to replace an older incandescent lamp. Old one on low gave a yellow light like a bright night light. This one gives bright white light, even on low. Good lamp, but took some getting used to.

Cute lamp and a good size for a small nightstand. I like that it's touch. The only thing I DON'T like is that the usb port is opposite the cord connection rather than in back or on the side, so there is a cord (usb) coming out of the front of the lamp.

These are the BEST touch lamps for a night stand, computer desk, basically anywhere a touch lamp is needed! It has 3 levels of brightness with a soft glow (like a regular light bulb) and not harsh like bright light. We have since bought 4...BTW, not hard to put together! ❤

I am using this for an individual with vision and mobility issues, making turning on a lamp with a switch a bit tricky for him. This is perfect. Well weighted so doesn't tip easily. Not glass, so won't break if it DOES tip. Three brightness levels are helpful. As a plus, it's very elegant and classic. The dark grey base with will match well with almost any décor. I chose the grey shade which is a bit dim considering his vision issues - I didn't expect it to actually be as dark as it is. For me, it's perfect - I don't want a bright bedside lamp, so I will be ordering another with a white shade and swap them out.As for assembly, the instructions are clear and it's quite simple as long as you follow them. Took just a few minutes to put together. The end result, however, does not look like a "do it yourself" product. The shade, if positioned correctly, will not be an obvious velcro-close one. The wiring seems stable and appropriate. It uses a standard US wall plug.
