This fixture comes with a remote control that gives you quite a few different light settings. I purchased it to use in my sitting room and it fits perfectly in the room. It's also got a unique design on it. The reason I give it 4 stars is because it's a little flimsy. It's made of plastic but you can't tell once put up. There is one of the squares that hangs down slightly but it's not overly noticeable unless pointed out. But it still bothers me about it. Overall for the price it's decent and looks pretty good in my room.

Doesn’t work with wall mounted dimmer switchI was hoping the remote was just an option but apparently it’s a necessityUnless there is something I’m missing …I would’ve really liked to have been able to install this light and use the dimmer switchThe LED color temperature changes every time I use the dimmer switch on the wall when I turn it off and turn it on it goes from cool white to warm white and goes through a series of three different light settings when I flip the switch changing the color temperature and dimming. The light only works with the remote.Trying to use the dimmer switch on the wall halfway like usual the light does not dim like I said it only dims when you use the remoteAlso, the power supply box you need to lift up the Amber tab where the electrical fittings are screwed in and tighten those up because they are barely hand tight and the wires will pull out
