This fixture came in packing that was busted - styrofoam pieces were everywhere. But the fixture was not broken. The globe is doesn't feel like glass, but since it's on the ceiling that shouldn't really affect anything. I liked the asthetic, but it was smaller than I anticipated and would not work well in a standard entry area. Would be better in a hallway with multiple lights or a small entry or laundry room.

I purchased these lights to match my chandalier--FGSADI 6-Lights Glass Globe Sputnik Chandeliers -- which was also an Amazon purchase. All 3 go great together. Watch the video which will make it very easy to show you how to attach the globes. It's a bit tricky. There was some detail on the globes that I didn’t realize prior to purchasing them. With the light bulbs, the detail on the globes created a serene effect.

Picked this particular fixture because we had a 6” CFL can light we wanted to convert to something else- come to find out, covering a 6” hole with a standard ceiling light canopy isn’t all that easy. This fixture has a unique design that, I suspected, might slow me to recess it slightly into the ceiling so the big disc sat flush with the ceiling.After some custom bracket fabrication, drilling some holes into this fixture, and a few nuts n bolts from Home Depot, it worked!Looks great, classy, a little bit weird, and totally custom. Love it!
