Just as described, mounted it on a lamp post right next to our grill. Now we can see to grill at night without a flashlight. Mounts easy on a standard 3" lamp post.

I purchased these to replace old damaged post light. The box it came in was solid and packaged pretty well. It does look really nice. When I purchased it I thought the height on it was much taller. It was much shorter than I anticipated. The wiring instructions seemed ok. I was able to figure it out and I am not an electrician. However, I have done hobby and light house wiring in the past.

Not as big as anticipated. If you're looking to have a light fixture that's large enough for a light poll, go with the bigger size!
