So easy to “install”, lights up bright enough that I can see the steps but not too bright that it’s obnoxious (the brightness can be adjusted). So far battery life has been great. The bird look of it makes it flow so much nicer than having a blatant sensor light. Looks pretty and definitely worth the money

I really like these because they’re magnetic. So if you have a metal anywhere in your house, these can be stuck to them or they come with a plate you can fasten somewhere to put them one. And the motion detection works great.

UPDATE on the night lights - DON’T MISPLACE THE CHARGING CORD. When I first tried charging these with the five different chargers that I have, it didn’t work - no charge at all. But just as I was about to give up, I found the cord that they came with and they charged! They lit up just like new. I will be labeling that cord and keeping it in a safe place 👍🏻I love these sweet little black birds! They are so cute, and the light they give is wonderful for about 45 days and then the lights burn out and there’s nothing you can do about it. They will not recharge, they will not turn on, and when I tried to take the magnet off the wall, it ripped the paint off and now I have to pay $800 to have the bathroom repainted!
I don’t have any lights in the hallway of my new house and didn’t want to spend the money on an electrician at the moment. These birds were my temporary fix and I have to say they’ve been great. The sensor works beautifully so that when myself or my dogs enter the hallway the light immediately goes on and the installation was a dream as it just has a magnet sticker that goes on the wall and then the bird snaps right on. So far it’s been over two weeks and I haven’t needed to recharge. The light is certainly bright enough to ensure that no one‘s tripping or running into things, but it’s more similar to a bright nightlight as opposed to a ceiling fixture. But it’s definitely working really well for me at the moment.
