Fabulous! The velvety finish and steel blue color are perfect.
It is a very nice lamp- came well packaged - better than most items I order but the color is much different than what is shown on Amazon so that’s a bit unfortunate. It is definitely more of a blue grey and gold than a dark grey/purple that is on Amazon. Thankfully I was able to move it to a different spot in my home but it’s a different color in person.
This is actually a really nice lamp, but with one exception. The cord is on the opposite side of the seam that runs up the lamp. So I could either hide where the cord comes in, or hide the seam on the lamp. I can't do both.I haven't cleaned it yet, but because it's velvet, I'll probably use my handheld vacuum rather than trying to wipe it. I love the material. It's very soft to the touch. It's also got a decent amount of weight to it, so I'm not concerned about it tipping over. It takes a standard bulb - I'm currently using a 100 watt soft LED bulb. I have a rather large area that I'm using it to light up, and it works great for that. The switch is plastic; a simple click to turn it on, and opposite click to turn it off.There's not really much to assemble - just the little piece in the middle and top. Pretty simple. But I have to say, for the price they're asking, the seam should really be on the same side as where the cord enters the lamp. It's a minor thing, but definitely noticeable. Otherwise, I really do love this lamp.
