I bought the GE CYNC bulbs when my Wiz bulbs wouldn’t stay connected to the app/bluetooth. Let me tell you, I will only use GE CYNC smart bulbs from here on out. I have them in outdoor lights and set up a schedule for them to turn on and off at specified times and they work every single time. Don’t waste your money with the others - just buy these, trust me.

I have been waiting for awhile for them to put out an Edison bulb that is also a Smart bulb, and I am glad they did. I know it has been out for some time but the other ones I have seen have been ungodly expensive. This 4-pack for the price is more than reasonable and offers the lighting solution I needed. Sets up easy with Alexa so I am going to have to assume it sets up just as easy with Chrome. The light is very soft and not super bright, so if you need that you will need to stick to an LED version of light, but this one is soothing and comfortable. Definitely worth the buy and I do hope you find this review helpful!

I've had numerous Cync bulbs over the years and they're usually fairly good bulbs for the price. For RGB smart bulbs, they're often excellent for the price. These bulbs I don't think are quite the level of bargain level Cync's other bulbs have been, but that's for you to judge, not me.For what they are, direct connection to wifi smart Edison bulbs, these things work really well. By that I mean they connect, they work with Google and Alexa quite well when you connect your Cync app to Google or Alexa, and they look nice. You cannot change white temperature with these. You can dim via the app, and the dimming goes low, unlike some bulbs that are only capable of dimming about 50%. You cannot dim these via a dimming switch. If you try to, you will end up with a strobe effect from the bulb.Now, I have tried connecting two of these bulbs. One connected easily. The other did not connect. My experience with Cync bulbs--and all smart bulbs--is that you usually have to try several times with at least half your bulbs to get them to work. If they don't connect, delete and start over. That's just how it goes... Keep trying and you'll get them to work eventually.

A lot of the other users made it sound like this would be really easy and it was definitely harder for me to navigate than I thought it would be. I installed it in my office which is in a open loft right above my Wi-Fi router. However, even with the proximity of the open floor plan it was too far from the router. I had to use a lamp and install it right next to the modem and then I could relocate it into the office otherwise device could not be found. I could not figure out how to group them together under one group so I have to have them under multiple single light bulb functions. Was easy to connect to my home Alexa. the lights do you have a yellow tone to them they are not as white as I had hoped.

Great light. Looks completely like any other lightbulb. And it’s so easy to use as an outside light with a timer. As long as you have Alexa or Google home, you don’t need to do anything else. Super easy to use and works perfectly immediately.
