Perfect Solution for Split Light/Outlet Issues Without RewiringPerfect Solution for Split Light/O...

[Style: 1 Switch+1 Receiver, Style: 1 Switch+1 Receiver]
Easily one of the best purchases I’ve made for my home renovation.I had a bathroom where a single switch controlled both the light and the outlet. That meant every time I flipped the switch, our bidet would power cycle, making a bunch of beeping and cleaning noises. Besides being annoying, I was concerned it could lead to premature wear.I would have preferred to add a second switch, but the house still has knob-and-tube wiring, and I didn’t want to open that can of worms. This remote switch ended up being a perfect workaround.Installation was very straightforward. I was pleasantly surprised to see lever-lock style connectors built into the unit, which made wiring quick and easy. The relay itself is impressively compact. It just fit inside my light fixture box, and anyone who’s worked in old electrical boxes knows how tight that space can be. If anything, making it even smaller would make an already great product even better. The remote switch is also very thin and takes up almost no space, which was a huge plus since my metal box is buried in plaster and doesn’t have much room to spare.I do wish it had a UL listing, but I haven’t had any safety concerns so far, and it’s been working flawlessly for the past few days. The switch also has a nice, satisfying click when pressed.Overall, this was a simple, effective solution to a frustrating problem.

Connection not secure.

The push in and lock connectors do not work very well. When I twist the receiver to push it into the box the lights went out that's how I realized it the first time.

easy install

[Style: 1 Switch+1 Receiver]
Super easy to install and thus far I am mildly impressed. The only thing I am a little concerned about is the directions say not to install the module in hot places. I would have to think that about 90% of fixtures are installed overhead and out of those probably 70% are in direct contact with insulation and are in hot places so longevity might be a concern
