Cameras arrived separate from the home base. Seller was prompt with back-and-forth communication to work out what was going on with the order. All items finally received and easy to set up. If anything changes, I will update.

So glad we got these cameras installed just in time. Day 1 on the job and already getting our moneys worth.Since our house didn't have preexisting hardwiring, we hired an electrician to mount them on the corner edges of the front and backyard. He also handled the setup and mentioned that, after installing security systems for mostly commercial properties, these were his top recommendation for residential use. That definitely gave us some confidence.The audio quality is lounge and clear. There's zero lag when opening the live view and previous recordings. The spotlight in the photo is only set to 50%, so it gets even brighter if needed.The cameras have a great wide angle view and even track people as they walk by. The motion clips are about two minutes long, and notifications come through instantly with a thumbnail picture preview.My only complaint is that I haven't figured out how to preview a recording directly from my lock screen like I could with my old Arlo system. Other than that, this has been a huge upgrade. I also like that everything is stored in home base and do not have to worry about subscriptions. Sorry, Arlo... it's not you, it's definitely you.

I have now ordered 3 of these and they are AMAZING. They track everything and because you are able to save videos locally you don’t have the long lag time of most web based systems. I canAlso keep it going in power outages and when the internet goes down. It’s highly reliant on my personal network BUT I get to choose when and if my system goes down. Because I have it all here not when some random internet service provider has a bad day. Loving eufy!!!

So far I'm pretty happy with these floodlight. The tracking works great. The AI recognition could use some work but as far as security goes, these work great! The video quality is excellent and the ease of use is fantastic.

Eufy security cameras, including doorbells, are quite a step up from Ring. All features on Eufy cameras are fully accessible, without any fees and videos are stored locally. No privacy invasion. Storage can be upgraded, can be installed on the device itself or the homebase, videos stored can be shared if desired and are encrypted. The option to store in the cloud and for professional monitoring are available. I keep Eufy running in the background on my phone and notifications are instantaneous. With Ring, if anything was detected, it was gone, before I would get a notification. Only very basic features are available without fees with Ring and one is basically forced into paying for professional monitoring in order to get all the features. With Ring, I didn't install indoor cameras. The Eufy cameras far exceed Ring in features available and clarity/tracking of the camera events. Ring cameras would notify of squirrels, cats and flying plastic bags/leaves. Eufy has options for what one is wanting to detect. I have mine set for vehicles and humans. Not once have I received a notification or alarm for squirrels, cats or flying plastic bags/leaves. I have many of all around here. I am able with Eufy to have the cameras alarm, outside at the unit with sound and lights as well as a very audible alarm inside, when set to alarm mode. It works, as it did alarm one evening with good cause. Didn't have that with Ring nor would I have been confident with Ring only picking up a vehicle or human. Of course, you can manually set off the Eufy alarm also. The Eufy doorbell has not missed one person at the door, a package being dropped off or me picking the package up. With Ring, it was hit and miss with mostly miss. Another Eufy feature I very much like, is the option to tailor alarm modes, Home/Away/Off/Disarmed/Customized, down to each specific device/sensor. I am very impressed and satisfied with all the Eufy products I have purchased. It is advertised as being compatible with Alexa, but I disagree. The problem is not Eufy, but Alexa. I enabled the Eufy Security skill, but the echo devices would not announce Eufy notifications. It was a constant enable/disable/ re-enable/reboot to finally get an announcement. It was short lived and right back to enable/disable, etc. Seems to be a problem for many I noticed as I was troubleshooting on the internet. Very recently I received a notice from Alexa stating it had disabled the Eufy skill and directed me to re-enable. I wasn't able to do that as I would not grant Alexa permission to control my cameras. That's what that cab is all about. If I had a smart light bulb, it wouldn't be an issue. I bought the cameras for the privacy of local storage, and now Alexa wants to control those cameras, which means it has access to them. NO. They were advertised as Alexa compatible so the echo devices should be able to make Eufy announcements without the need for Alexa to have access to the cameras themselves. I don't want the echo devices to show me the view of the cameras, just make the Eufy announcements. It wouldn't even do that before, and now Alexa wants more permissions, to do what?? Alexa has gotten as bad as Ring. Putting those two aside, Eufy is an excellent security system on its own, all the way around. As for Alexa and its skills, no more Alexa compatible devices.

Installation was a bit frustrating due to lack of provisions for corner-mounting or mounting on a hard surface with limited access to a rear cavity; I ended up designing and printing my own bracketry out of ASA, but shouldn't have had to do that.The app works much of the time but is not perfectly consistent and sometimes does not display the camera views.

So far so good. The installation for these is relatively easy. I did have to make adjustments as the junction boxes that were used for the previous outdoor lights were simple rectangle junction boxes versus ceiling light boxes but with that said I was able to get both up in less than half a day. Video quality is solid and the lights are pretty bright (better than the old flood lights that we had). Both also connected easily to the Homebase on setup prior to installing them and have stayed connected without issues.
