This lamp is beautiful and functional for small accent lighting. It could be used as a bookend or ambient lighting on a shelf or table. I love the shape of the lamp and coloring of the stone whether it’s tuned on or left off, which I like.The lamp comes with a short charging cord, but no wall outlet adapter. One thing I noticed right away is that there is a notch along the white plastic bottom to accommodate a cord, but the marble itself isn’t notched, which makes the plastic notch useless. I wish the notch extended throughout the bottom so that even with a cord, the lamp would be able to rest totally flush along the surface. Instead, the cord is squished under the lamp and raises it a tiny bit. This is a minor issue, but is the reason I gave it four stars instead of five. The cord is also so short as to be impractical for most uses; the good news is that the lamp can be plugged in to charge and then can be turned on by pressing the power button, even if not plugged in. I’d just rather have the option to have it always plugged in so that I’m not keeping track of the cord and finding the lamp uncharged when I want to use it.I also noticed a dark vein that goes down the side of the lamp that I personally don’t find super attractive. The top of the lamp is also opaque and dark when tuned on, which I don’t love if you had the lamp on a nightstand or surface lower than eye level.Still, the lamp is beautiful, even when turned off. I’m going to put it on a higher bookshelf to use as a bookend and accent light. I’ll just turn the lamp so that the dark vein isn’t visible.I think the lamp is worth the price and it seems to be of high quality so far. I like that the lamp feels heavy for its size and love the variation of color throughout. The texture is smooth and even everywhere and I’m very pleased with it.

This is a beautiful little marble touch lamp. It's powered off anf on by single button on the bottom. And even comes with a cord gor when you need to recharge it.The price tag on this does seem a little high in my opinion, but the craftsmanship is wonderful. Relative to its size it is quite heavy, which is to be expected since it is marble. The marble is cut perfectly smooth all around. No chips or cracks anywhere.During the day and when the light is off you can't really see the marbling patterns as much, so it kind of looks like a small ostrich egg, but still beautiful. It definitely looks the best at night with the light on though. With the light on you can see all the pretty natural marbling.Something to consider is that this is more so a decorative light. The light is bright enough to show off how nice the lamp looks and will help you see a little in an otherwise dark room, but in no way can this replace a standard table lamp. Certainly not going to be reading any books with it. It's just for asthetic and to help set the mood or tone of a room.

This light is simple to operate. It has an off/on switch on the bottom. If the switch is on, you have a choice of three levels of light, activated by touch. You may also turn it off by touch. If the lamp is plugged in with the included 30” USB-A to USB-C (lamp end) charging cable, it glows faintly even when turned off, and though you can turn it on with the switch, you cannot adjust the brightness.At about 6” tall and 4” wide, this accent lamp is surprisingly heavy for its size. It is very well made from a very attractive marble with distinctive veining that can be seen even when the light is off. However, it is at its best when the light is on, shining through the marble with a soft glow. It is not a lamp you would use for lighting a room, as it is quite dim. It is very classy and would make an elegant gift.The lamp comes with a small instruction manual, 4 pages per language. It mentions that if the battery goes dead, you need to charge it fairly quickly, or the battery will go into sleep mode and can only be reactivated by the manufacturer, essentially rendering the lamp useless. This might be an item that you want to leave plugged in.The light I received is off-white, not the attractive golden color in the photos. That was a bit disappointing.
