I am a full-time student and a busy mom, so I love anything that makes setting up for a party or a school event easier. These mini uplights are great because the ease of use is top-notch since they are wireless and rechargeable. The functionality is impressive with the RGB colors and the sound-activated mode, which my kids absolutely loved. The sturdiness of the compact housing is good, and they feel like they have decent durability for indoor use. Because it hasn't been outside I can't comment on the water resistance. I am giving them four stars because, while the remote control makes them very convenient, the battery life doesn't last quite as long as I hoped for a full evening event. The brightness is excellent for their size, and the quality of the halo effect is a nice professional touch. This is a solid value for the money if you need a quick, cable-free lighting solution for a church or home stage.

It's a fine light. The build quality seems decent enough. For $60, it's on the high side for an unknown brand of LED par, but the metal chassis backs that up. It's quite large for what it is. Most higher-quality DJ and pro fixtures are about 1/3 of the size, but they're also 3x the price.Now, why did I remove two stars? The first was because of the stated colors of the LEDS. Red, Green, and Blue are all accurate... but the "lime?" It's actually a cyan/teal. Nowhere near "lemon" (which is what the manual states) or "lime" like the description states. Maybe for cheap 'flash and trash' lighting, this would be fine, but if you're expecting to mix decent quality face-light for churches or bands using this light, think again. Look for a light with a dedicated amber or white LED. Or better yet, one with an actual Lime LED.The second star came off because of the 50,000 hour claim. That is a complete overstatement. While the diodes may last 50,000 before reaching their End-of-life state, there is not a chance that the driving electronics are rated or that kind of wear-and-tear. That is 5 and a half years of constant use. Disassembling the unit, you can see that the electronics are rated at the upper end of what the LEDs can produce, meaning they will be driven quite hard.

Bought for a goofy prop. I didn't expect much out of it, but it works so much better than expected. I like that it is rechargeable and for as inexpensive as it is and as cheap as i first thought it would be, it works great. Very happy.
