Replaced clear globes on pendant lights over kitchen island with these and they are absolutely lovely and really help to soften a white and stainless-steel kitchen. I am SO HAPPY with them!! They are white on the inside which will help to reflect light to some degree, but they will definitely be dimmer than clear globes, so just be aware. If you have some recessed lighting in your kitchen, you would be perfectly fine when cooking later in the evening or after dark. Highly recommend if you are trying to turn a "builder grade" kitchen into more of a soft warmer cottage style.
