12V 3000K Horizontal Step Lights

I installed these on a stone retaining wall, replacing 20 year old incandescent lights os similar size. The lights were easy to install after replacing the corroded metal junction boxes with brackets. However, I found it difficult to line up the provided metal mounting bracket holes with the 2 holes in the light fixtures, until I switched out the provided machine screws with sheet metal screws. I wish they’d come with tapered screws to make it easier, but not too big of a deal to get tapered screws.

Low voltage lights that put out a nice warm light at a downward angle to avoid pointing up at your eyes. Easy to install with low voltage wire to a low voltage transformer. We use them outside to light the stairs from our deck.

I ordered these for going down to my basement. It was pretty easy to just cut the hole in the wall put the plate up mount them and have them wired. I do wish it came off four of them instead of three though. They are bright enough to illuminate the steps, but not too bright to disturb you or catch your eye when you’re watching TV in the lower level. Overall, these are nice quality, very durable and pretty easy to install.
