Lantern Floor Lamp

I recently purchased the Govee Lantern Floor Lamp (Model H1630), and while the actual light quality, halo effects, and app integration are fantastic, the setup process was incredibly frustrating due to a glaring omission in the instruction manual. The manual does a decent job explaining how to thread the power cord and screw the lower pole sections together. However, it completely skips a key step on how to secure the top light part to the very top of the pole. If you just follow the printed steps, the top lantern portion remains completely loose, wobbly, and won't stay upright. After messing around with it for twenty minutes, I realized there is a specific alignment/locking mechanism (or hidden set screw) required to firmly anchor the lantern assembly to the top segment of the pole. The manual completely fails to mention this, which could easily lead someone to think their brand new lamp is broken or missing parts.Once you figure out that unlisted step and get it fully secured, the lamp is brilliant. The LuminBlend+ technology creates beautiful, seamless color transitions, and the wide 1000K to 10000K color temperature range is perfect for shifting from relaxing warm light to crisp daylight. Govee really needs to update their documentation to save future buyers the headache. If you buy this, just take your time with the top connector and ensure it is locked into place before tightening the rest of the frame!

I love this lamp! Unlimited color options and abilities. I love that you can pair it with other Govee lights on the app and make changes for all of the lights at once. So easy to set up. I am definitely getting another one

I bought 3 Govee lights, and am having fun with them. They are amazingly easy to set up, and the variety of patterns/types of light are endless. They are working very well to keep me from having to use overhead lighting in my living areas. I love them, and they add a wonderful feeling to my space.

I like that lamp and its versatility. I didn’t expect the outside to be silicone and soft, but I don’t mind at all. It makes it far less fragile and it still looks fantastic. It was easy to use and set up with my Alexa system, and the colors, brightness, and other functions are reasonably easy to control intuitively by voice. You may just have to memorize a couple of settings or take the time to define them through govee or Alexa.

One of my most favorite household purchases ever!! The range of color on this lamp is out of this world. It has so many great presets on the app and you can make custom color mixes and choose the way the light changes. I ADORE this lamp!!Easy assembly, good size. A little expensive for a lamp, but still so worth the value and will buy another one for my bedroom.This one is in our living room and it’s so great to have the option of a low warm light but I can change it to a bright cool white when we need it. And the color range is honestly phenomenal. I love trying all the different fun color mixes.

I own a lot of products from the Govee ecosystem. The colors are bright and vibrant, this is definitely one of my favorites. It works in just about any room and is super versatile. I use it in my google home ecosystem as well integrates well! It’s also safe bc the light itself is soft but in a good way so it won’t shatter if it falls.

Honestly didn't expect to love this lamp as much as I do, but it's become one of my favorite pieces in my home. The gradient color feature is what really makes it stand out. My first Amazon review and a well deserved one.The lamp is exactly as advertised. Easy to assemble and install first of all. The app you can notice is well thought of with hundreds if not thousands of lighting settings, colors and combinations. The style is very sleek and modern, just the style of lamp I needed for my apartment. It’s amazing how bright it lights up the room at night for the size it has. It is not the cheapest of lamps but it is worth it in my opinion if you’re in the market for a floor lamp. It is a statement piece but at the same time can be as subtle as you want it to be. Very recommended!
