I was really excited to receive this pendant light in black and gold surrounded by crystal.This is a more modern crystal pendant light. But I feel you could make it fit to whatever decor theme you have in your home. Is surrounded by clear crystal bars. There is a full metal frame that is rest resistant.This has a really pretty classic black and gold design and even just hanging is pretty whether it’s turned on or not. I like that the cord is adjustable and it can fit flat and slope ceilings. It can hang anywhere from the height of 7 inches to 67 inches. I will need mine to be closer to the 7 inches due to where there’s a nearby door so I love that it’s this versatile. It’s pretty glamorous in a modern vintage kind of way because of the type of gold, which is an antique brass to me.You can place the light anywhere where you wanna scale up in the area in your home. It can be used to hang over your kitchen island, your dining room table or a reading nook for an accent lighting or anywhere you have a light source on the ceiling that you can attach this to.It’s a nice size. This particular one is 8 inches but there’s only one light that I’m going to need for the area because there’s only one light source but I think it’s gonna look really stunning. When you first walk in from the back door it’s gonna really illuminate a dark little corner nook that I have it’s gonna be perfect. The light is not too much and it’s not too little.My husband said he already knows how to install it so I’m really glad about that and he said it will be easy. It’s going to be off of our laundry room, which has black and white accents in there which this light will bring some of that into this darker space and then the gold is carried out throughout my house. So it’s going to have a nice flow.The slide is also dimmable as long as you have a dimmable bulb, and you can set the light to make your room, a warm and cozy atmosphere or something a little brighterIt comes with all the hardware which is great so we don’t have to go out and buy it This company sets you up with what you need.I can’t wait to hang this as I’m really curious how it’s going to transition this little lonely area in my house and bring some life character, personality, and beauty to the space. My husband said he even likes it and he goes. Oh this will match everything else that’s in your house so I really liked that.This was packed very well from the company, and there was no defects or scratches on it, which I really appreciated because all the metal pieces are gold and or black.For the price point, I think this is an excellent deal. This will really elevate any space in your home and you’ll get lots of compliments.

This hanging light is quite nice construction but it might need some alignment of the crystal prisms that are set on its sides. The prisms do not have a aurora like coating on them so they will be completely clear. After doing some testing with both clear Incandescent and frosted LED bulbs, this light works better with LED bulbs given the way it is constructed. The light from just a 40 watt incandescent (that is rated lower Lumens than the LED bulb) was quite blinding even if it was over head. Average line-of-site in most places and this can be a problem. You will get a nice refracted light effect from the prisms if you use the Incandescent over the LED. If you had LED style clear incandescent then it might be different for your use case but I don't have that to test.The cord it hangs from is quite durable and has set screws that hold it in place. You can freely adjust the length and can hang off any sloped surface. It is made mostly out of metal with ceramic for the socket. If one wanted they can use this as a lamp shade for a standing light and not use the included cable that is already attached. It is easy to mount to the bracket and the cord has 2 wires both black and white with a dedicated ground. You could put a replaceable plug end on this if one needed it for a plug in hanging light but of course I would not hang it from the plug itself but can be hung from the cord so any good clamp can be attached to the cord and that can be used to hang it.Only negative is the set screws are a silver color but if one really had too, you can swap them out with black set screws or even a finished point screw using the same thread. You don't want to screw it in too tight as it just snugs up to the cord so it does not move. Everything is as shown and depending on the lighting you want, it can fit very well.

I recently received this 8 inch kitchen pendant light with the prism glass crystal shade and it is absolutely gorgeous. The crystal detail is beautiful and really elevates the space. It looks even better in person than it does in the pictures. I especially love the gold accent in the center because most fixtures are either all black or all gold, and this small detail makes it stand out and work perfectly with the look of my kitchen. The size is true to the listed 8 inch diameter and it has a nice presence without feeling oversized. I originally ordered one but liked it so much that I purchased a second so I could place one on each side of my 8 foot kitchen window instead of just having a single fixture in the center. The quality is excellent and comparable to many higher end lighting fixtures I have seen, but at a much better value. I also like that the height is adjustable and it can work with a sloped ceiling, which makes it more versatile depending on placement. The way the light reflects through the glass is very pretty and adds a nice detail to the room. These are also dimmer compatible, which was important for us so we can adjust the lighting as needed. With the quality of the crystal and the metal frame, this is an impressive fixture. I clean the crystals in the dishwasher on the top shelf with plenty of space between them and secured so they do not move. I have never had an issue doing this and it keeps them looking as clean as the day I received them. For the design, quality, and flexibility, I feel this is an excellent value and a beautiful addition to my kitchen.
