Works great. Very bright. Comes on when it should, and off when itโ€™s time.

No Offense

[Size: 70W, Number of Items: 1]
These do a surprisingly good job of illuminating my driveway without blasting through the neighbors windows. The 70watt version kind of remind me of the old mercury lamps people used to light garage fronts and driveways. Enough light to do the job without offense. Had to hire an electrician b/c I don't wanna burn my house down but they do exactly what I originally intended.

Properly bright

Itโ€™s hard to know what a light is going to look like without seeing it firsthand. I bought several of these to replace a mix of 100 watt high pressure sodium and 175 watt metal halide wall packs. These are brighter than the 175s. They seem well built; but on the other hand they donโ€™t seem user-serviceable if they break

Great Except for Lens

[Size: 70W, Number of Items: 1]
The lights come in a sturdy box with good foam packaging and nice glossy graphics on the outside with a picture of the wall pack. The case is well constructed of aluminum with a polycarbonate lens. Hopefully the lens will not yellow over time. I have had issues with yellowing on other brand units I have purchased in years past (one star removed for this). A glass lens is the best but adds way more weight to the wall pack. Wiring is easy to connect with a wide voltage range (100-277VAC). Gone are the days of having to hang off the side of a ladder while squinting at microprint on the side of a transformer to figure out what color leads you would need to use for the voltage at hand. The color temperature is a nice white at 5000K. The photocell is already installed and ready to go. The included instruction book covers anything you need in the way of installation, wiring or specifications, including foot candles of light output for various mounting heights. I ordered 2 of the wall packs, one in 70 watts for a large rear parking area and another in 50 Watt for use on the street side of the building covering a much smaller area. Both work and look great and provide good coverage--this is for the 70W variant.....
