I really hoped the shade would cast a shadow on the wall when the light's on. It doesn't, but it's still pretty. Not a huge deal, but something to be aware of: there's no setting to use the warm light vs. the white light. You will have to flip the switch twice each time you turn it on to get to the one you use all the time. Not a big deal, but something to know.
