We really love this light. Its very heavy though. The screws to hang the light were to short so we had to buy other screws. But overall very happy with it.

Once installed, this is a very nice light. The metal is nicely finished, the design is clean, with nice thick, weighty glass panels, and it has standard "candelabra" sockets, so you can use the bulbs of your choice (color temperature, style, smart, etc).And, it comes really well packaged, with plenty of foam around the glass, and even a bag of spare parts (caps and washers, mostly).The installation is.. not fun at all.The manual suggests assembling the fixture entirely before hanging it. But, thanks to all those thick glass panels, this weighs close to 20lbs. And it has no hanging strap (I wouldn't trust the thin crimped ground wire as a hanging strap).That means you basically need a second person, and a second ladder, to hold it carefully and stably up against the ceiling while you make the connections.So, you'd think the next logical answer would be to attach the glass panels only once the metal fixture itself is mounted to the ceiling - that's no better. Attaching the glass requires careful alignment, adjusting the metal rods to line up, and then you're trying to hold a heavy piece of glass with one hand, while somehow attaching the mounting screws and nuts with your only other free hand.Most reasonably handy people can probably put up a simple ceiling light in say 15 minutes. This one took me a bit over an hour, while constantly fearing I was gonna drop and break one of the glass panels.This manufacturer also makes the same fixture in a style which hangs from a chain. I've installed that one as well, and it's *far* easier. Just take it up the ladder, slip the chain loop over, and voila - all the weight is now taken care of and you simply do the wiring connections. If your style can accomdate a chain hung fixture, even if you only use one or two links, buy that version instead.
