Lamp was as advertised. It was easy to assemble, sturdy and the brass finish added a nice touch to our study.

Looks elegant and reasonably priced. Overall, seems good. However, there is one issue. The metallic inner shell for screwing the bulb in is SHAKY and WOBBLY. There is no way to tighten them. It's annoying and poses risk of easy failure and safety. Reached out to customer service. Response was quick and claimed this "movement" is a design feature. Weird and suspicious. May have to replace the socket sooner than later. Customer service wouldn't provide instructions for replacing the socket even though I am willing to buy a better and tested socket and replace it myself. Disappointing.

Great lamp. I put in a 70 watt bulb. Gives off enough light for reading and crocheting. I love that it uses dimmable bulbs and I can vary the intensity. Actually I bought two to replace old lamps.

This floor lamp looked like what I wanted, and the price was good, but I was spooked by the prominently displayed “frequently returned item” note. I wanted a fixture for which I could replace the bulb, so I checked and double-checked, and finally ordered this lamp.It’s only been a few hours, but the brushed nickel lamp looks good and seems quite well-constructed. The dimmer function works nicely. Plus, inexpensive, dimmable LED bulbs from my neighborhood grocery store work great with it. (In other words, don’t buy the expensive bulbs paired with this lamp by Amazon. Just sayin’.) If I had to guess about the reason for frequent returns, it would be that no bulb is included, although that is clearly stated in the description.If this lamp craps out in short order, I’ll enter a follow-up, but my initial impression brings to mind The Old Man’s Major Award in “A Christmas Story”: “What a great lamp!”

I absolutely love this lamp! I had my eye on it for months before I finally made the purchase. It looks so much more expensive than it was, and I appreciate the dimming knob and ability to turn the light 360 degrees. It provides a nice, warm ambiance.

After renovating our office, we added a reading corner into the room and needed a light. This lamp is absolutely perfect. It’s high-quality for the price and we love the ease of adjustment. It can get bright easily, as the lighting is adjustable. It doesn’t come with a bulb, but we put in a soft warm light for what we needed. It is easy to use and is a great addition to our office. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a vintage style reading light.

I could not be happier with these lamps. Bought two for either side of the bed. They had all the features I wanted. Replaceable bulb (not those damn integrated LED lamps that go to landfill when the light finally goes out); dimmer switch; easy access switch and positionable light; adjustable height. These have all that and are super heavy and substantial. They are not tipping over. Easy to assemble as well. Only drawback is that they aren’t mirror images so when they are each facing the bed, you need to reach to the back for the switch on one of the lamps, but still easy enough to manage. These are quality lamps and a deal at this price.
