I was leery about getting solar lights, but XMCosy makes great products, so I decided to try these. They are better than I expected! First, they are easy to put together, easy to set up, and are not complicated to place in the yard. I had to consider how much sunlight could reach them, and because they aren’t wired I was able to get the best placement, and as a plus, some on both sides of the sidewalk. I also have the ability to change the configuration if I want to try something different. I like that they always provide some light, but only light up bright when motion is detected because that should make the solar batteries last longer. I am really happy I decided to try these XMCosy lights.

Overall, this is a great product and I'm really pleased with the purchase. There's room for it to be even better, but honestly some of my minor issues may just come down to having particularly hard soil.Assembly & SetupThe items are incredibly easy to assemble — so intuitive that you barely need the instructions. Just a quick look to learn which button controls which mode and you're all set. A helpful tip: if you have tough soil like ours, lightly watering the ground with a hose beforehand softens it up and makes installation much smoother.DesignThe design is simple and sleek, which I appreciate. The flat surface on top is a nice touch — you can place a leveler on it to make sure each light is perfectly straight. It gives the whole setup a polished, professional look.Sensitivity & ModesThe motion sensor is very responsive — it picks up movement even when you're just walking along the pathway nearby. If you prefer the light to activate only when someone is walking directly between the lights, just be aware it has a wider detection range. I'd also love to see clearer labeling on what the mode settings (25LM, 30LM) refer to — whether that's brightness, distance, or auto-shutoff timing. A small note in the manual would go a long way.Durability NoteThe stakes look sturdy, especially the silver anchor portion, but they're designed for softer ground. In our rocky, hard-packed soil, the silver part separated when we hammered it in, and one stake tip broke off when we pulled it out to relocate. Once we started pre-softening the soil with water, we had no further issues. For anyone with tough terrain, that extra step makes all the difference.Bottom Line: Easy to assemble, clean design, and great functionality. With a little soil prep for harder ground, these lights look fantastic along a pathway. Highly recommend!

The lights seem to be well built. Surprised it was all metal. I love the shape, and they light up very well. They are dim until it picks up motion. I set them all to the brightest setting, and there are 3 sensor option and 2 color options. The pictures are in total darkness, no other lights are on. In one picture two lights are bright, the further ones are dim. The second picture all lights are bright. Great lights, and I will purchase another set for another walkway.

These Solar Lights are an absolute game-changer for any outdoor space. The brightness is seriously impressive they light up my deck with nice glow that doesn't strain our eyes. I love the three modes and the motion sensor that kicks it up to full power when someone walks by, adding both safety for walking and security.Usually Chinese products feel cheap. I have bought XMCOZY products in the pass and was very happy. The all-metal construction feels incredibly premium and durable, way better than those cheap plastic lights that crack after a season. They're fully waterproof, charge fast in the sun, and easily last all night. Installation is a breeze. There is no shortage of cheap lights on Amazon, and you feel the cheapness as soon as you open them - that is not the case here. These are solidly built with what feels like an aluminum case, and are sturdy and a bit bigger than you'd think from the photos. A few mode options, but we use them as constant on at night. These do a good job of lighting up the ground so you can see where you're walking without providing so much light it fully lights up the space. Paired with our xmCosy string lights above these look great on our patio.

I couldn’t be happier with these solar pathway lights. They were incredibly easy to assemble—each light comes in just three pieces and took only a minute or two to put together.One of my favorite features is the ability to choose between two color temperatures: a bright white or a warmer light. It’s a nice touch depending on the look you’re going for.The three lighting modes are also well thought out. You can have the lights stay bright all the time, or choose a mode where they brighten when motion is detected and then return to either a medium or dim setting. I have mine set to Mode 2, where they stay at a medium brightness and get noticeably brighter when someone walks by. The motion sensor works great and adds both convenience and a little extra security.The lights have a clean, modern design, and it’s nice that they’re available in both 4-pack and 6-pack options depending on your needs.I already have several low-voltage outdoor lights, but I wanted pathway lighting in an area without nearby electrical outlets. These solar lights were the perfect solution. They look great, were easy to install, and the solar charging has worked exactly as expected. I would definitely recommend them.

These solar light are well built and should last a long time. I particularly like the metal push rod that helps with installation in hard soil areas. The light settings are easy to adjust and light is bright and even, lighting up enough surface area at night to be really useful. I've noticed that performance really varies based upon the amount of direct sun each light gets every day. Moving one light a few feet from the original location affected how long the light was lit because it was in more direct sun for longer during the day. These are top quality solar lights and I hope that they last for a long time.

I’ve had these installed along my front walkway and have been very impressed with both the appearance and performance. The all-metal construction feels much more premium than most solar lights I’ve purchased in the past. The poles are stainless steel and the light housing is aluminum, so they don’t feel cheap or flimsy.Installation was simple and only took a few minutes. I chose the warm light setting, which creates a nice welcoming glow without looking harsh or overly bright. One feature I especially like is the motion sensor. The lights provide ambient lighting throughout the night, and when someone approaches, they noticeably brighten. The sensor is sensitive enough that the two lights closest to the sidewalk activate when someone walks by, which adds both visibility and security.They’ve already been through rainstorms and regular sprinkler cycles without any issues.
