Love these lights on my basement stairs. They are rechargeable but usually last a few months in between charges.

4.5 star really. Work beautifully on my stairs. Battery life between charges is longer than my paranoia of them going dead. The triple cord is nice but you need a hicap charger to really take advantage of a quick charge but that can shorten overall life. I do wish it had a lower setting for the final dim level but that’s the old navy dude in me I guess. Hate losing night vision. Overall, I highly recommend them

Nice set of lights They are compact and have a nice warm light. They work great with just enough lighting to prevent toe stubbing. The detection range is remarkable. I had initially intended these as motion sensors to place inside the window for activity just outside, but this idea didn't work out. However they quickly found permanent homes in very convenient places inside. I was skeptical about having to charge them, but I set mine up two months ago and still haven't needed to charge them and as a added bonus they save on the power bill not using the plug-in style motion lights.

The lights work wonderful except for the sensors are very sensitive and even though I have mounted the lights 5ft off the ground and my cats still set them off. However they still wonderful lights with great colors and they are perfect for getting up in the middle of the night and not getting blinded from turning on a regular lamp. So far the batteries are holding up from the original charge and are a great value for the money.
