I was hesitant to buy this light because there were no reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. Installing it was straight forward. The shades are secured with a washer so they do not wobble. And, the 60w recommended bulbs give plenty of light. I don’t know if I’d call it brushed gold like the description says, but it goes with the our decor so that wasn’t an issue for us. I’d recommend it.

I ordered this for my mother. She prefers traditional decor but has gotten used to this fixture. I went to see it after the installation, which was easy, and noticed the bulb shades & lights were all crooked, which made it seem defective. To solve this problem, I gently bent/straightened the metal (narrow & thin) so they were all positioned straight. **NOTE: The shades are attached to the metal & cannot be removed to install light bulbs.

Perfect for my dining room. Only problem is one of the shades was a little wrinkled. Not sure how to get it out so it is facing where you can't see it. This lamp also takes the skinny light bulbs if that makes a difference in your purchasing decision.
