These sconces are so much prettier in person than I expected. They look like something out of a boutique hotel or a designer home. The gold finish has a really new vintage look without being too shiny. It's a nice muted gold. The combination of the crystals, the glass light holders, and the draped chain all add to the girly, glamorous look. The gold flourish at the top sort of looks like a bow and adds to the girly look. This lighting could lean vintage, girly, Hollywood glam, cottage-style, or even traditional depending on how you decorate.I was a little worried the rose design might end up looking overly themed or old-fashioned, but they actually have a nice balance between vintage and modern. They add a girly touch to the room but don't make it look overly feminine or floral. They would actually be really cute in a little girl's bathroom as well. They make the room cozy, elegant, and a little dramatic. I ordered them for a my master bathroom by the vanity, but they could also work as bedside lighting too if you want more of a hotel look and feel.Installation was easy for my handyman. I've never installed lighting before, so I let my handyman take care of it.These don’t look cheap or builder-grade at all. They look unique and high-end, and I’ve already had multiple people ask where I found them. They are a small detail that actually makes the entire bathroom. 5 stars!
