This is a great patio umbrella and perfect for our needs as a small family. On our deck, we have a standard polywood table that comes with 6 seats, and this 9ft umbrella is a good size that covers the table and chairs. Obviously, the sun moves and at times it will cover just one section but that's expected. The red is a great color that matches our cushions. The fabric material feels good to the touch. And it was assembled by one person. The metal pole does wiggle a little bit so I wonder about durability overall. It's got an easy handle for opening and closing. The solar lights are a nice touch although we don't usually go out in the dark.

See below for details.1) Quality - better than typical discount store umbrellas. The pole is light, but sturdier than your typical <$100 umbrella2) Fabric - nice. It's actually quite heavy and rugged feeling. The beige color does have a pre-faded look, but I guess that's ok3) Lights/Solar - The lights are somewhat dim, but good enough to light a small table. The solar panel is actually well encased and produces good charging power even in cloudy conditions. Quite impressive.4) Setup - Very easy. The pole snaps in like a typical umbrella. The solar panel snaps on with a twist after plugging in the electrical connector5) Use - crank it up, tap as desired, and turn the light switch on/off6) Value - great. This is cheaper than most unlighted umbrellas, and better quality.is it excellent? No. Is is worth the asking price? Absolutely!I'd buy another right now if I had the need.
