Love these, look good in an open chandelier. Bought the amber colored bulb, gives plenty of light without being irritating like a bright white light can be. We did need to upgrade our dimmer, wouldn't work with old one, kept flickering, does not flicker now, but our dimmer was old and needed to be upgraded
