So far, so great! It was easy for me to put together. It clamped nicely on the desktop. It illuminates nicely. It’s great for draftsmen or artists. I love it!

Height: I attached this directly to a tall plant stand, which solved the seemingly impossible task of finding a single lamp tall enough to cover several large plants at once. Any comparable freestanding grow lamp I looked at was $170 to $300+, so this saved me a fortune.​Ease of use: The clamp is heavy-duty and gripped the metal plant stand securely on the first try. The gooseneck bends smoothly but holds its position instantly without fighting back.​Brightness: I paired this with a dedicated LED grow lamp bulb, and the fixture handles the wattage perfectly. The inner reflector does a great job pushing that intense light straight down to the lower foliage.​Look: The matte black finish is sleek and modern. It blends right into the corner and doesn't look like an ugly piece of industrial hardware taking over my living space.​Functionality: The 360-degree adjustable gooseneck is exactly what I needed. It easily supports the extra weight of a heavy grow bulb without sagging, letting me angle the light perfectly over my Money Tree.​Size: The lamp head is compact enough to stay out of the way, but the socket comfortably accommodated the larger, specialized grow bulb I bought for it.

Just what I was lookng for! Got a new jigsaw puzzle table. Clamp is wide enought to fit on table two leaves thick. Lamp extends to middle of table and at the right height. Can be adjusted easily. Price is very good for value.

I love this lamp. I build fishing rods and need adjustable directed light where I need it and not be blinded in the process. This lamp works perfectly. I also like how sturdy the U-shaped clamp attaches to my workbench. I read some reviews where this was a problem. Not with this unit. It’s beefy and isn’t made out of pot metal like some products are. It doesn’t move. The lamp head has a knob for adjusting the tension, if it ever became loose and the other 2 pivot points have spring assists. Anybody that says this unit is loose evidently doesn’t own a screwdriver or have a skill set smarter than a nut and screw. Yes some products have poor quality control, but not this one, at least the one shipped to me, and because of that, I like this unit so much I’m buying a second one for the other end of my 12 foot work table. It can provide direct light 36” in either direction, which is way more than others I have seen. I really like the pivot point being 14” higher than the workbench as the lamp head nor arms do not get in the way. The finish is a matte black and looks chic if that’s what you’re into. Function over form for me. I give this a 10 out of 10, and for me that is a rarity.
