I was really excited about this light because on paper it checked all the boxes, modern farmhouse feel, brushed brass finish, and those unique stone shades.In person, it is a beautiful fixture, but I’ll be honest, I’m a little on the fence, and it mostly comes down to the shade color.I was expecting the stone to be a bit deeper, more of a warm cork or tan tone. The ones I received are much lighter, more of a pale, natural stone look. They’re still pretty, just not quite what I had pictured, and it does affect how it’ll work with wall color (something to keep in mind if you’re designing around it). The fixture itself seems a little lighter as a whole, even the metal seems lighter. But we are not contemplating on changing paint color plan in powder room, or swapping powder rooms, so that the fixture can have its moment. It is pretty.That said, there are definitely things I really like: the brass finish is lighter, soft and not overly shiny, the shades diffuse the light nicely (no harsh direct glare), the heads rotate side-to-side, which is actually a really nice feature for a bathroom setup.One small note, the back plate looked slightly larger in the listing photos than what I received, but it’s not a dealbreaker.It’s a well-made, stylish fixture. I just wish the stone tone had a little more depth. If you’re expecting a lighter, more neutral stone, you’ll probably love it. If you’re hoping for something richer or more contrast-heavy, just be aware it leans lighter in person, in my opinion. I would say, that this piece in general is a heavy, solid fixture, well worth the expense.
