Exactly what I wanted for extra lighting poolside. I highly recommend these solar lights. They are well made, sturdy, and provide the perfect amount of light.

Every time I look at this light, it makes me happy! My husband says it makes him think of the original Star Trek. He calls it his ‘ Spock Light’.The light is solid and comes on right as the sun goes down. It’s a very cool shape and the whole inverted trapezoid emanates light. It’s mounted in a sturdy stand that is never going to tip over. It’s never going to rust either. The stand is made out of a flat black powder coated aluminum with just a slight texture to it. The light itself is made from a translucent white plastic that feels both impact proof and ‘weathering’ resistant. The solar collector works very well and it stays on all night long. And by that I mean all night long, like pre-dawn all night long. With the stand being black, the light being white and the solar collector being the black disc in the top center of the light, it is very cool to look at when it’s on OR off !It comes with a simple little remote that has both timer and brightness functions. The timer gives the options of 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours. The dimmer function obviously gives from an ‘almost off’ to full brightness range. As far as installation goes we have it sitting on a metal stand and it fits with our funky outdoor decor. It does have three large holes for installation so it could be hung from or fixed to a surface. Neat light!

Absolutely beautiful 15" lights. Make our mountain top pool look even more elegant. Super easy set up - fully assembled out of the box. Each come with their own remote control but one Remote control can be used for all of the lights. They Last all night if you want them to but we set ours for 4 hours - (sun sets here about 9:45pm) VERY happy with our purchase of 4 patio poolside lights

This solar light by PAKEDANDUN is certainly well-suited to play its headline role as a lighted topper for a pillar, post, or column. That said, it also has the potential to perform quite admirably in other venues. And that ability is exactly why I ordered this 3000K LED unit. One can search high and low for a structure in the “post” category here on this property and come up empty. But there’s something about the design of this lamp that allows it to look fantastic almost anywhere. That’s due to, for me, what I consider a knockout form factor at work here. I find the look of this lamp naturally appealing. As someone who remembers the 1964/65 New York World’s Fair, this lamp’s base evokes the lines and spirit of some of the futuristic architecture there. In striking contrast, the lamp portion itself has more of a classic, almost primitive, basin/bowl shape. It’s an enticing combination, and worthy of being treated more as a work of industrial art than as a simple functional light. While this lamp may ultimately end up elsewhere, for now I have it placed on a large front yard sandstone rock. When I first put the piece down on the rock, it was a “yes, this works” moment. (See photos.)And when it comes to working, as in how it does its job as a solar light, it does that very well. A day of charging in early summer sun yields reliable dusk-to-dawn lighting duration. The 3000K warm white light is smooth and pleasant, filling the PE lamp enclosure with an even glow without any hot or dark spots. The lamp gives off a pleasant soft illumination that, in its current low-to-the-ground position, casts a circle of moderately bright light about three feet in diameter. Less bright light extends outward at a greater distance. The remote offers on/off control, plus dimmer and timer options. While those controls may be useful for some, I actually will not be using the remote.I’ll be letting the lamp run at maximum brightness. It will come on and go off automatically based on ambient light. A simple solution. Also simple is the easy portability of this lamp. My analog dial spring scale shows a weight of about 3 1/2 pounds, and that makes it easy to pick up and place wherever it might add just the right touch. As per the product page example photos, it would do very well lighting an outdoor table, or sitting on a walkway. The powder-coated stainless steel base has a sparkle finish that adds an enlivening touch to the surface in sunlight. Overall, the lamp feels solid and well-constructed.The IP54 water-resistant rating is not quite the IP65 rating that I prefer for outdoor solars, but I’ve had the light out in the rain and it has done just fine. The lamp is all set for permanent mounting, with pre-drilled holes in the base and a set of beefy fasteners for attaching to a concrete, stone, or wooden surface.Because I’ll be moving the lamp around from place to place, it’s not mounted permanently on its current rock home. But I’m predicting permanence for my appreciation for this well-built, artistically designed solar lantern.

I bought this to add some ambient lighting to a flat column cap, and it fits the space perfectly without looking bulky. The thick metal housing feels heavy duty right out of the box, and the waterproof seal has already handled a few heavy downpours with no issues. It isn't a bright security spotlight, but the downward-facing 3000K glow is exactly what you want for a warm, upscale architectural accent at night. It holds a solid charge through the night after a clear day, and the overall fit and finish make it feel like a high-quality, permanent fixture rather than cheap plastic solar novelty lighting. Highly recommended if you just want a clean, wireless accent.

Love the way it looks. I wish it was a little bit brighter. Very easy to install.
