It's a beautiful fountain well worth the money. I built it easily without reading the instructions. It's quiet. I replaced the rocks they offered with crystals of my own and I like the effect for my purposes.

I love this fountain.If the bowl is truly full (which usually requires lifting the orb) it is completely silent minus the trickling sounds of water. It flows smoothly all around the orb and bubbles out the top. My cat, bear, loves to drink from it. I do have to wipe the filter of debris and add a half waterbottles worth of new water each night. it will vibrate and sound choppy if the filter gets covered or the water is low.

EDIT: While I may have issues with the fountain itself, I must say, the Customer Service is above and beyond with this fountain making company, and for that I change the stars from a one to a four. I do believe they will look into this and try to make changes.The "ball" or dome shape does not stay in place. Mine rocks and makes the water flowing down the dome uneven. I have found I have to keep a nice looking carafe in the room to be able to water the water fountain daily or it will suck air--making a terrible noise. I am a person dedicated to my fountains, and this fountain is extremely high maintenance. I would not buy this again. I will most likely use the parts of it to create something else more functional. The one thing this fountain has going for itself is it's beauty. I consider myself a fair evaluator, and this product is not up to a standard I have seen with many other fountains.

This is a great enhancement for any room. You can fill it high enough to hear water trickling, or you can back off a bit so that it runs silent. The ceramics are not only beautiful, but they make it heavy enough so pets can't knock it over.It also serves as a great pet water fountain. My cats love to lick water from the surface or from the top fountain. The only disadvantage is that because my cats drink from it, I have to add a few ounces of water daily. My previous fountain would had enough of a reservoir to last a week before I had to replenish. Only a two or three ounces removed will make the motor run dry. Fortunately, it hasn't damaged my motor yet.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a family member who now works from home and I thought could use some tranquility.Unfortunately, I was curious so I tried it out before wrapping it and I dropped it. It broke, but that is no one's fault but my own. Naturally, I wrapped it up and figured I'd feign shock on Christmas Day and come up with a brilliant excuse; in the spirit of the season, I came clean.I managed to glue the beautiful ceramic base back together easily enough, but plugging it in, I heard only the gentle hum of the pump that wasn't strong enough to provide that serene sound of trickling water. But the cat likes it, so I'll just write this one off.If you're looking for a little slice of nature for your desktop, this isn't for you. But it is pretty and if you have an old fish tank pump laying around it might be worth swapping out.

Enjoying my new indoor table fountain. Been looking for the right one for awhile now. Perfect color and works perfectly. Just have to be careful water last only for a few days, so you have to make sure it has enough water or else the motor will burn out.

I bought this water fountain to replace a worn out one I had previously, and it turned out to be the right size for the space, and a wonderful color. But, just to let other people know, it does uses up a lot of water rather quickly, so you have to refill it often. No big deal, all things considered. I like it a lot, and I had to shop all over the place before I finally found this one. I recommend it! And the vendor sent it very quickly, too!
