This half moon light provides versatile installation methods and multiple light temperature output.The moon light comes with the lights attached to the cantilever bracket, a power adapter, a clamp mount, a weighted base, 3 pole segments for use with the weighted base, a connector to use the weighted base without the pole segments, cable ties, a remote control and the user manual.There's effectively 3 ways to support the lamp. You can attach the clamp which will clamp onto a desk, table, shelf, or so on. That has a hole that fits the cantilever bracket and the bracket slides into the desk clamp. Alternatively you could use the weighted base with 1, 2, or 3 of the pole pieces for different height options. Finally you could use the base with none of the pole pieces. for that you use the small connector which threads onto the base and has the hole for placing the light bracket into. I'm using the clamp attachment on a desktop.The weighted base weighs 79.4 ounces and has a thick plate of metal with a foam pad on the bottom. It measures approximately 12.6" by 8.7". The connector for the light is on one of the short ends.Using the light there's basically 3 options for color temperatures. It has a warm white mode, a cool white mode, and a mix of the 2. There's a separate brightness adjustment. The 2 halves of the light can be rotated independently letting you go from a wide long light to a more narrow double wide light or a V shape or so on. The light position can be adjusted pretty well with the cantilever bracket that has 3 joints, 2 at the ends and 1 in the center. The light can be controlled both by the control on the power cord itself as well as remotely using the remote control. The remote control uses a CR2025 battery and has a magnet inside thus you can attach it to metal surfaces such as the light itself.It's a great light when you want wide light that has minimal shadows.
