I bought an old home with no ceiling light wiring so needed plug in pendant lights that I actually liked. I made my own fixtures from fallen trees on the land with these rope lights. I made a few of them.The distance of the rope between each light is LONG, maybe two feet apart.Good price, sturdy, and a great way to make your lighting situation just the way you want it!

Great looking light, except for the black rubber hook thing...the space I needed it for was not huge and there was a LOT of excess rope and that black thing. Had to return for the 2 light version.

I used this light fixture for my closet which is a long rectangular shape. I just did a closet makeover and I do not have the electrical for a light inside the closet but have a plug in outside of the closet. The cord was long enough that I could plug it in and still string the lights properly inside the closet. I used nails and strung these down the length of the closet. It worked perfectly. The switch is great so that you are not pulling on the plug every time you want to turn the light on and off. Great product. Easy to assemble and install.
