These lights are the perfect size and were easy to install. I would have given them 6 stars but we had to search for and find wire nuts that fit. The ones included were too small. These lights provided just the right amount of ambient light.

Installation takes some planning because they are wired low-voltage lights and require properly sized mounting holes, but once installed, they look neat and professional.

Super high quality but so bright you can’t look directly at them. Kinda important on deck stair riser lights. I had to put vinyl stickers over each one to tone it down to a reasonable level. If the brightness was adjustable they’d be 5 stars all day.

A friend recommended this 1W 80-lumen version, and I’m glad I listened. The packaging alone tells you they care – each light in its own little box, 22‑inch leads with pre‑tinned ends, and a twist tie ready to go. Hooked them up in minutes. Brightness? Honestly, it’s almost too bright – I had to cut a piece of the foam bag and use the tie as a DIY diffuser to tone it down. Those “84‑lumen” ones from other sellers? Barely visible. This one’s the real deal.
