I’ve had this for a few weeks, and it is perfect, exactly what I was hoping I ordered! First and foremost, I have had zero curing issues, on myself nor others, even people that are unfamiliar with curing and may not be perfectly positioning their hand. Either the lights are nice and powerful, or they’re placed just right, but whatever! It cures perfectly.The opening is big enough so I don’t boop my nails while entering the lamp, but not so big that it’s nuking everything on my table.. using standard precautions of course. Don’t set your brush right in front of the light like “that woman said it would be alright!” I don’t usually have an issue with the size of the opening, so I guess my hands are just average sized though.It’s default setting when you first plug it in is 60 seconds, that’s cool, and when you use the sensor and just place your hand inside, it now defaults to whatever time you pressed last. My last lamp (that somebody gave me) defaulted to 120 seconds. Every time. The sensor was useless to me because I had to press the button every time anyway since I hardly ever use 120.The bottom is reflective, which is probably a big reason that it cures thumbs so well, there is a countdown timer, its cord is long enough, it’s cute and simple (I’ll probably decorate it), and it was not expensive. My goal is always to use the cheapest, EFFECTIVE product because anything else just seems unnecessary. I searched and compared and read reviews, and I finally settled on this one, and I am so happy with it. Like, please just sell me what you claim for the price that I agreed to pay, don’t trick me with your cheap af product just to get my money. If that’s how you feel too, buy this one. As long as it lasts more than a year (my bougie self does my nails about once a week), it will be worth the money.The picture is mostly because my nails turned out cute, but with the right tools, they always do!

This thing is amazing. The mirror bottom is essential for proper curing, and the amount of bulbs ensure even curing coverage even for thumbs. My only complaint is that its a little short, and you should pay careful attention not to bump your nails on the way in. The sensor works great so its auto-on/off. It's plug in (as it should be--dont trust wireless lamps!!) and the cord has a decent length to it. It's worth the price and easy to use right out of the box. I've had this lamp for almost a year now and I can't see myself switching! Highly recommend! 5/5 stars!

Just got this lamp about an hour and half ago and I am pleasantly surprised by how well it cures! I ordered it specifically because the lights in reviews were not the lower quality yellow bulbs. I have a pricier brand that is more common here on Amazon. I learned afterwards that the fluorescent yellow beads were generally lower quality. After only about a year of personal use, I discovered on testing a newer dark gel (color shown on a finger in the photo) that my old lamp isn’t fully curing the underside.I went in search of something that might not break the bank but would get the job done. This lamp seems to fit the bill! After doing some side-by-side testing, it came out on top every time in how well it cured. It still didn’t fully cure the dark gel when I used thicker coats (I wanted to see what the limits were), but under normal use thickness, it cured with zero stickiness on the backside of the swatch.The one pretty BIG safety issue I’ve identified is that the edges of the removable bottom plate are SHARP! They feel like they could easily slice something. At least for me and my clumsiness, it’s an injury waiting to happen. I put silk medical tape at the edge of mine that faces the opening so I don’t accidentally slide my hand the wrong way and injure myself (see the photo). I won’t be removing that detachable piece much (if at all) but just be aware of it, depending on what your needs are.And then a few nitpicky things I would adjust if I could:1 - Compared to my old light, the opening is very wide and so the light leakage is much more noticeable. It’s also just REALLY bright, which combined with the large opening makes me worry for the bottles of gel I have on my desk. I think the brightness is a good thing - the light beads seem to be better quality since they’re not painted fluorescent yellow - but just keep your gels in a safe spot away from the light! If I could find a light with this type of bead, with a more narrow opening, I would be very happy.2 - The lamp doesn’t feel the sturdiest as far as construction, and when lifting it from the packaging it felt like the internal light piece snapped fully into place I think, and when positioning it on my desk, the timer reset with 2 8’s on the display until I pressed the 60s button a couple of times. I don’t plan on beating it up now that it’s in place so I don’t think that will be a huge issue, but time will tell.3 - aside from the very sharp-edged metal plate, the other edges of the lamp on the underside seem like they could be a little sharp if grabbed the wrong way. This one isn’t as big of a deal at all, but I noticed it, so I’m writing about it!4 - I wish there was an on/off switch to turn off power to the top timer. It has to be unplugged to turn it off completely, and thus far I haven’t seen it enter a rest state or anything (I doubt it will).Overall, for the price I’m happy I found this, but I’d have also paid more for just a few design improvements. I wish I could just take the internals and the light beads from this one and just put it in a more thoughtfully designed exterior. However it seems like it will do what I want it to, and I’ll keep my eye on the brand in the hopes that it’s still early days, and new and better lamps come. And of course I’ll update a few months down the line if anything changes about how the lamp is working!
