I put three of these on our shop stairway that used to be a very dark passage from the entry into the main floor. It is now safe to walk down the stairs at night or most days here on the Oregon coast. My wife especially likes the safety they provide!

These were exactly what I was looking for. We replaced all the battery operated ones with these hardwired lights. All of the dark corridors my house are well illuminated when you walk pass. They have 3 levels of light-I chose the lowest setting which I felt was more natural and offers plenty of light. They stay on for about 30 seconds or so after you pass. It was a game changer especially if you get up in the middle of the night and do t want to turn on the over head lights.
