Good lights for the price. They are just the right brightness and have a pleasant warm color. Battery life is great with 900 mah nimh batteries. I seal the top of the solar panel to the body with some black RTV and put some electrical grease on the battery contacts after full charging the battery out of the light on a charger. This is probably more than most want to do but I'm a tinkerer. If you do though you will be very happy with these lights .

I don't write reviews often, but I really am impressed with these solar lights. They are bright & long lasting. While a bit on the higher price side, they are well worth it. Bought some other smaller cheaper ones that come with more lights/stakes, but several of those stopped working in less than a month (even after I changed out the rechargable batteries). These solar pathway lights are as bright as when I first got them and none have stopped working in 2 months. My only small complaint is that the design of the plastic frame around the glass lines up perfectly with the vertical LED bar at certain angles when looking at it and blocks the light. I get the design, but it is just unfortunate that it lines up that way. I also love the glass casing vs cheap plastic lenses others have. You do get what you pay for with these. I am very happy I bought them.

I have used these for a while now, and I will never buy anything else. They are absolutely fantastic. They cast a very bright light their glass which I love in some of these have been in my yard for over a year.

I cannot believe that I purchased these lights nearly two years ago and am just now getting around to installing them. And yet, they came out of the box glowing and ready to use...talk about instant gratification!I chose these because they are more slender and modern looking. They are VERY sturdy and easy to install. The "tube" section (which is metal, not plastic) snaps onto the stake. The lights are inserted into the tube. Unscrew the cap, flip the switch to "on" and place it back. That's it. The lights went into the ground very smoothly and have stayed in place. They give off enough light so you can see at night and they look so elegant. I just installed them, so I will update next year.These are exactly what I was looking for to bling-up my backyard. (*since they are more slender and smaller, you may need more than one set to cover a large area or walkway)

These lights are easy to install, and no wires! They are as advertised, a good height and sturdy. In full sun, the charge well, and hold it til morning light. This is my 2nd set, adding to last year's lights. Very happy they were available and at a decent price. My first set, even in winter, with less sunlight, worked every night without fail. Nice glow, and no maintenance issues. The stem is metal, the tops are hard plastic, but my first set are a year old, still look brand new, no fade, no warp, very pleased!

I placed these solar lights in my backyard so that I have some light along a path where I walk my dog. First thing to know, the lights are not as bright as they are portrayed in the pictures on the product description. Second, they do not stay on all night. I happened to look out my window at 4am and the lights were not on. My next door neighbor has the same lights along their walking path and a couple of them were not lit up.Overall, the lights are very attractive. Very sleek and modern. Despite the fact that they aren't as bright as I thought they would be, I might buy another set. They are super easy to install and arrive "pre-charged" so they will turn on the same night you put them in the ground. Make sure you install the lights in an area with full sun, otherwise, the lights will not get enough solar charge to illuminate at night.The product description does state that they can handle snow, but I will probably pull them out of the ground since the winters in my area are pretty harsh.Giving only 4 Stars because the lights are not as bright as depicted in the photos on the product description.
