This beautiful white pendant light would look good in a kitchen, dining room, Cafe, hallway, or bar. It has a large white plastic shed that’s almost 14 inches in size.The light height can be adjusted to wherever you want to use it, between 14 inches and 86 inches down from the ceiling. It also uses an E26 socket; the bulb that you need is not included.The fact that this has such a long adjustment (86 inches) means you could use it, and it has an unusually high vaulted ceiling. If you wished to bring light down to a table where people are going to be sitting, or if you had a lower ceiling in a farm, you could place it 14 inches below the ceiling, and it would almost be like a ceiling light at that point.The E26 socket has been around for more than 100 years and is a standard American light. There are literally thousands of bulb types for this light socket, from very, very bright LED lights to dim, almost candlelight LED lights. The manufacturer suggests no bulbs larger than 60 W. That’s because a 60 W incandescent bulb would generate enough heat to damage the shade. Most LED lights, even those over 60 W, don’t create enough heat to damage the plastic shade.This is a well-made, very sturdy, and well-constructed pendant. Light installation is relatively easy.But as with all electrical installations, the specific steps you take before commencing the installation are essential. You must locate the circuit breaker control panel box in the home. The circuit breaker control power box is typically located in the basement of your home. And some homes are located in the garage, particularly if you do not have a basement. Once you have located the circuit breaker control panel, you should ascertain which circuit breaker controls the power to the junction box that you’re about to start work on. Once you believe you locate the correct circuit breaker she’s taking an electrical voltage tester, a voltage meter and test each and wire in that junction box to make certain that none of them are still elected or analyst and of course, price doing that she would turn on the local power switch, whether it’s a regular switch or a dimmer switch the controls that junction box.This product includes an installation plate and four machine screws. Next, tighten the installation plate fully into the junction box with the two machine screw supply, making sure the two machine screws that are going to connect to the canopy are coming out away from the junction box toward the canopy area, toward the fixture area.Take the black wire and match its ends to the fixture's points, then place a wire lock over them and twist clockwise to form a firm, mechanical, and electrical connection. Do the same with the white and green wires, which may be connected to a bare wire from the fixture.Now take the canopy and place it over the two screws, extending away from the install plate. Place the ball nuts on top of the two nuts through which the screws pass in the canopy, and tighten them fully before doing this. You would make sure you adjusted the height of the pendant to your desired height the extra wire you can store inside the canopy or inside the junction box, and before installing the canopy, you should push all the wires, including the wire lock nuts into the junction box if possible at this point, take the plastic shade and place it over the E 26 socket, but before doing that unscrew the shade holder from the top of the socket it goes around the exterior of the socket place the shade over the socket, then replace the shade holder firm way into place next install the E26 lightbulb be bought to go with this fixture.You have now successfully installed your pendant light. You can turn the local power switch on and the circuit breaker on. If it’s too bright for you, consider getting a dimmer switch and replacing the switches you’re currently using with dimmer switches.
